Yes, but Digi-Key will do price matching.
I just did that last winter on some bulk ics from
Digi-Key. Mouser had then cheaper so I just called
Digi-Key back and told them and they refunded the
difference. That ended up getting the best of both
places. Digi-Key packs and ships very promptly and
professionally, and Mouser was cheaper than Digi-Key
on these items. No problem. Digi-Key will price match!
Digi-Key will also haggle prices and come down
considerably from their published catalog prices if
one asks them to.
Most people never bother to ask. Try it and see for
yourself.
