Many thanks for sharing the link Grahame - There is another BBC one here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/1XCzBzrJs6GVNVl794qLmqf/clock-this-systems-manager-finds-the-time-for-a-hobby BBC 4 are making a program about eccentric folk who make things at home, they tracked me down..

The tube in the clip being waved about was a 'dud' - Dalibor sent me some samples that had failed during production :)  - that one is open circuit on the '1' digit, but ideal for showing people and explaining what the tubes are about.

Wow.  I cannot even begin to tell you how much I want a set of those tubes.  Usually my wife kind of rolls her eyes when I talk about tubes, but she was truly shocked that someone would make tubes these days.  Perhaps after they catch on a bit, I can convince the wife she needs a clock with these tubes.
