Hi guys.

I need to replace the lcd back lights in my Miata radio and they've become N.L.A. Originally they were incandescent grain of wheat bulbs that I think ran at 7.6 volts or so. I'd like to replace them with LEDs but am having a problem finding any that supply light in  unidirectional way. Most LEDs I've found seem to more or less project there light forwards with  limited 'spread.

 I'd appreciate any thoughts.

grain of wheet bulbs still turn up on ebay and in the surplus stores for
time to time.

for example this fellow in Shanghi will fix you up with a lifetime
supply of 6 volt ones for 20 bucks..
