Hi Michael,

Very beautiful clock with rather rare tubes! I like how it can be used as clock or word display, and especially the nice little opton modules are quite nice and a really good idea. I like how the pcb shows, but personally i would have made that one in black with ENIG finish to match the clocks case.

I would just LOVE to have some alarms & chime options for this and the MOD-SIX, and have customizable routines that happen when the chimes or alarms are activated.

Some images of this beauty next to the 7971 version. Now to make a case for the 7971s just as amazing...

Very pretty, but then again, I am biased! About both of them!

Glad it arrived safely Kevin!

Is that a B-8971 clock... Wow that's sweet. I guess you need a B-5971 baby one now?

Haha that would complete the holy trinity indeed! I just wish more tubes were available at lower prices; everyone should be allowed to enjoy art like this.

Qualifying my last statement, Clocks are sold out, but our MOD-PIR Wireless PIR is still available and compatible with most all MOD-SIX's!

Sign me up for one Michael.  My original had issues from the beginning on my B8971 clock.

Thanks,

Bill

I was never able to get the black one that came with my emerald clock to work correctly.  I tried different settings with the PIR and the clock.  It just wouldn't turn the clock off or even seem to trigger itself.  Since the clock is working so well I didn't worry about it that much.

Best Regards,

Bill

Bill, Not sure if you had the attached . Also, silly question, but have you checked to make sure that 2032  batt has adequate juice. If it is low, can cause the PIR to act a bit weird. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to sell you another one, but lets see if we can get the one you have working. Let me know. We can converse  directly too is you wish.

Is there a way to get the PIR to work with the Dalibar Zen clock...

Nope, you could modify the clock to accommodate a conventional PIR, but not our Wireless PIR
