Nixies trending briefly on Twitter

Hi Folks,
this weekend my B7971 driven Twitter NixieBot got noticed by a
subtribe of Twitter Youth and got a bit of a hammering :)
Over 2000 images or movies of text on the tubes got sent out and some
garnered near on 200k views!
Some of it isn't for the faint hearted but go take a trawl through the
mind dump of the internet (Furry division by the look of quite a lot of
the messages )

Code underwent some rapid revision to deal with the load without
triggering Twitter's spamcops, made it through though :)

So thats a whole lot of people getting turned on the the ionic orange
glow :D
