Can you tell me at least tell me which message it was, and explain why it was denied, so that I can at least have a small chance to correct or modify it??   Thanks Ira.

I'm not sure it's your message at all, because I got that too.

Assuming that there's something up with the list configuration so that
unauthorised posts are getting bounced to the list, rather than the sender.

Ira, this is the spam that Nick was talking about a while ago...it's still happening occasionally, but don't worry, nobody is denying your posts! ;-)

Cheers,

Nick

Hello Nick,
Happy Thursday evening to you. I did not see the message about the spam I guess. I thought that one of my messages had really been denied, and was pulling what little hair I have left out, trying to figure out which message it was. Thanks for clearing it up.   Ira.

The really annoying thing that as I clean this rubbish up, little bits are added by Google Groups - as the SPAM appears to come from Google groups itself, it sends itself a "reject" message which I also remove, but if you're on email delivery it gets to you before I can delete them...

I've raised the issue with Google but they aren't really interested - there isn't even a proper forum for Google Group-related issues... there is no-way to "silently" delete a message without Google being all 'big-brother' about it and sending some sort of extra message to the purported originator, fake or not... luckily there is not too much of this around...

Nick
