Is there a link about this socket? I have enough spare B-7971's to complete one.

No  link yet, I have only just about completed testing the prototype - which works as it should.
I have a two board set, one is the actual smart-socket and the other is the board with HV power supply module (NCH8200HV) and WeMos controller. It also has space to mount a microwave/radar PIR.
I have a small quantity of these boards available, PM me if you are interested.
For the controller board i deliberated over whether to drive it from 12V or 5V via a USB - which had a bearing on how I generated the HV, in the end I elected to go with USB 5V and an NCH8200HV module for simplicity. For the PIR I left space for a couple of different types. Disappointingly, from those I had on hand, the one which fits best appears not to function that well. I have another type which I have yet to test with.
On the smart-socket, the PIC16F690 is located on the underside in SOIC format.

Good Morning Richard-

I'd be down to try at least a set of them depending on how many boards you have?  I have many of the populated and some unpopulated original B-7971 smartsocket boards.
