Hi all,

Thought I'd share the most recent clock project of mine. A friend scored some numitrons at a hamfest and didn't know what to do with them, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to finally make a clock from scratch! I don't have a case for it yet: still working out the software. It is the first of many project to come!

Love a Numitron clock - built my first one only recently too - using a kit from ian Sparkes.

I think my IV9 version of Ian's clock is actually my favourite of all my clocks!

The flat 2010's are the best numitrons minus maybe the IV-13 (mother of all numitrons)  I've collected about 24 IV-13 and dozens of the 2010's... did you happen to see how many of the 2010's Ian had on ebay?  Great price too... they're not the RCA ones but who cares they're NOS from the original styrofoam tray!!!  Ian also has a really nicely priced kit for this same type of clock... hard to beat the price but yours is great since you made it yourself.  I've seen a lot of the other stuff you've made and I think have some of your clocks, if I'm not mistaken.... anyhow great job!

Best Regards,

Bill
