My latest bit of Nixieness

I had an idea about Tesla and Edison having a collaboration and what would ensue so I built this bit of Nixieness with multiple RGBs as a result.

I should have mentioned that the tubes are GNP-7AHs with an off board additional RGB LED circuit driven by the 2N7000s on the board limited with 220 ohm resistors.

Hi Nick,

the base was made from a piece of Teak that had been a floating shelf at some point, I picked it up for next to nothing at a timber merchants where I get the hardwoods for my clocks, they sell bundles of mixed offcuts which are a lot less expensive..
You can see it before it was modified HERE as an Instructable. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would as Teak is quite plainly grained compared to other hardwoods
