Not a Nixie display, but pretty cool

Found this today in a old garage in downtown Oxnard!
All chips in sockets and hand made just a few years back..
1970s vintage 2.5 digit -  Heathkit digital voltmeter.  Still works fine too after I cleaned it up!

Nice find. I had seen one of these with a Nixie dispaly pretty recently, but the sale didn't go through, sadly.

I have a couple of these with nixie tubes... Here's a weird find of mine that I'm working on getting running correctly again.  It's an amazing a VERY heavy piece of gear used for all kinds of things during the cold war including testing radar:s-l1600 (4).jpg

It's a Singer SG-1000 Signal Generator w/ SG-1001 Frequency Extender.

I love stuff like that Martin... it looks clean inside and that's always good.  This signal generator I bought weighs what seems like 50 pounds+.
