Hi Guys,

Not very often I would post a clock in here, you would all get bored - but this one is rather neat and thought you would like to see it.
The 'Tesla' clock made for a client in Singapore! Slightly Steampunk but once shipped will probably never be seen again!

Looks great! But next time you make sign in Russian, for translation you better ask here, (not Google L) , as we have Russian speaking members  in neonixie-l  group.

Sorry if I have not got it, may be incorrect translation is the feature …

Wikipedia states that he was indeed born in Smiljan, Austrian Empire,
which is today modern Croatia, but then states that his ethnicity was
Serb. Just how does that work out to be that way? Seems odd or off some
how to me. Ira.

Tesla's parents were Serbian. His country of birth was Croatia. Both countries claim him as their own.

I visited the remains of Tesla's hydroelectric plant at Krka National Park, Skradinski Buk, Croatia. Breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls. This was the world's first operating hydroelectric plant. Although Niagara Falls was commissioned two days earlier than Krka, Krka was supplying electricity to the town of Sibenik the same evening, whereas Niagara supplied electricity to Buffalo 14 months later.

I did  a Google search on krcka tesla and it corrected it to "cracked Tesla". Some people's opinion on his state of mind!

Personally at some point in his life, I think he may have cracked a bit, and departed from good science, and drifted out into left field so to speak.  Ira.

You just spelled Krka wrongly - drop the c.

I know, just a funny typo. Tesla wouldn't have been the first super-intelligent scientist (Nobel prizewinner!) to descend into crack-pottery. He's still my favourite Serbian :)

Being from this part of the world, I thought might chime in. Tesla's father was an orthodox priest, serving in small place called Smiljan where Nikola Tesla was born. This part of Croatia was then called "Vojna krajina" - more details in nice Wikipedia article
Tesla's famous words were "I'm proud of my Serbian origin and my Croatian homeland".

There are some differences in Cyrillic alphabet being used in Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria or elsewhere. Major parts of alphabet is the same, but depicted text is the same in every Cyrillic script ТЕСЛА.
Bad Dog Designs is funny to read as written in Cyrillic.
Back to neon now.
