Folks,

here it is finally finished.

CV5278s, PV Electronics Dink kit, OG-4, threeneurons Dekatron Spinner kit, 1.5M 8mm thick wall brass tube, Chestnut base, Oak tubes and some bits of brass!

I dimmed down the LEDs to match the GN-4 brightness as they were glaring! I will publish an Instructable on it later this week for the nitty gritty of it.


Here is the inspiration for the clock.

Till now I never heard of the 'atomium' ; there's a nice history at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomium

Many of the 'atomic age' buildings in the US are gone now, probably because many of them were just downright ugly, but this structure certainly is unique and I'm glad to see it's been preserved and appreciated. Very cutting-edge for 1958.
