Several years ago when I got back into Nixie clocks, I took a few to church with me to show a friend. A few of our members are either still active or retired from the airlines (Pan Am, Delta, Jet Blue). One member who worked for Pan Am and retired from Delta on the ground crew at JFK saw my IN-12 clock and mentioned he saw those often on the Russian planes. Even remembered the inverted "2".
