Gosh, it looks just like all the other ones without LED Nixie tubes.

I've started putting these in all of the line-powered equipment I make. So cheap and easy to use. They even have versions that fit into a knockout for 1/2" conduit fittings.

As LCDs continue to get cheaper, someone is bound to make a nixie (or perhaps NIMO) font.

Maybe adding some resistors and removing some diodes? I would like to measure the 170V DC and the current drawn by the nixies.

These use current-sensing transformers intended for line-frequency loads, and most-likely passive (RLC) loads. So, not for DC.

I've seen DC volt and ammeters, but they will require a separate power supply.
The nice thing about the AC-line monitors is they are self-powered, and seem to run down to 70V rms.
