Ordered myself, or correctly my eldest son, a Nixieclock kit from this Russian producer:

We checked various sources and kits and the Alena IN-14 with wooden case was decided.

Reports to follow.

I am not that active with nixie projects. Sold one of my two clocks (as my moving to a new flat made a too big hole in my accounts) and the second need some more (wood)work. Besides, I have two VFD-displays with Russian clock-ICs, and some 6 nixie tubes from an old Fairchild DMM. No clue what to do with them.
But also I am a bit intrigued by this vfd-clock:

I myself and friends have ordered from kama-labs as well.  All without a problem.  We’ve chosen the wood cases as well.

I don’t think you’ll have a problem.

I concur with Michail... They make really nice clocks and the wood is nice. He's a really nice guy as well. Good choice! From what I've read there's a few people on a team that make all the clocks together.

Finally got the clock together and it looks pretty smart. Just powered it for a second; still have to locate my instruments. nWE moved a few months ago and I still haven’t located my instruments.

My only criticism is that this is no kit for beginners. It can sometimes be a bit “fiddly” get stuff correct and I missed that there was an IC in a TO92 packade. Also a PCB layout had been great, though I made one myself – helped a lot.

Else a great kit and it will surely look nice.

I am so glad that you posted that site.  I have a few people that have asked for Nixie clocks as presents, and ordering these boards without the tubes, but with the cases will make my life much easier.  I just ordered a couple of assembled boards, hopefully I can get them to look as good as the pictures.

Most nixiekits come with plastic cases, but the wooden one looks, to my mind, much better.

The clock is for my son, but as he fried a 25W classD-amplifier I had sent him recently, I am afraid he will fry the clock as well.
