Just for everyone's info. RCA originally named 'magic eye tubes' as 'electron ray tube', starting as far back, as at least 1941 with their 6U5.

I believe that RCA made them first, but I could be wrong on that. I do know with certainty that the RCA 6U5 does date back to at least, if not further than April 19th of 1937.

hAVE YOU EVeR HEARD THE PHRASE "FAT CHANCE", OR "A NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK". And if you do actually find one it will more than likely be very dim, or not light up at all. If by some 'miracle' you find one NIB, be prepared to borrow money against your home to buy it.!!!!
