12 digit Japanese panaplex-like tube 1972

I was cleaning up some stuff in my shop and came across a Unitrex 1200 calculator, which has been hiding there for quite a while. google it to see images of similar ones. It appears to have been made in 1972, and I don't have the power cord for it, although I could with a little effort make something work.

it has a 12 digit neon 7 segment display.

There must be something fun I can do with this....any ideas?

Build a gonculator. I didn't realize it, but 'Gonculator Day' has just passed by (Oct 5).

Rummage thru your junkbox of unused electronic gizmos that you've never had the heart to throw away, and build something utterly useless that looks very cool.

And make sure every component does something, hopefully random/unpredictable.

The chip it uses, the MK5011P, is pretty basic 4 function calculator with fixed (not floating) point maths.

Its a neat display, but pretty boring calculator.

With 11 digits you can do: DD.MM.YY_HH.MM

Stardate is an alternative (there are a couple of versions), as is using one of the FFF system units, such as microfortnights since your date of birth...

Alternatively, as has been suggested, do something more random (you get the idea!).

Add - Substract - Multiply and divide... one of the units the place I
worked at out of high school had in their line. the unitrex units were
well made, one of the few brands that reliably worked out of the box.
