January 100/200k

Hi all,

Anyone up for a 100k or 200k on Saturday?  Temps will be in the 40s and the forecast suggests rain in the late afternoon.  A 100k should stay dry but a 200k might end up a little wet.

I can’t do Saturday but Sunday forecast also seems to be getting better. Not as warm as Saturday but drier. Would you be willing to ride on Sunday instead?

I cannot do Sunday. I am planning to ride from Winchester Starbucks tomorrow (Saturday) at 10. My pace will be around 16ish. I will take a coffee stop at Harvard General Store. Hope to be home around 3:00.

I'm interested in knocking out my 100k perm for the month. If it's not this weekend, I'm eyeing this Wednesday's weather if I can make it work.

Which route are you looking at to start in Winchester? I think I rode it recently, but I can't remember. I might be interested in starting at a control point nearer to me in Watertown, and meeting you for your starting time.

I'll be leaving Dedham tomorrow on route 5289 somewhere in the vicinity of 09:00. A little creakier than 16ish, I'm afraid, and may have to portage the unpaved bits, depending.
