I am not too heavily invested in a 200k and would be equally happy riding 100k as well if there’s company. Do you have a perm in mind already?

Great to see so many riders expressing interest!

The plan is to ride Jeff's modified-for-winter version of the #05179 Sherborn - Concord perm: 

Start time: 9:00 AM

Jeff has very graciously offered his house to be the start address (hope you feel better enough by Sunday to ride!) : 105 Nonantum St, Newton 02468,

Parking: Plenty of street parking.

That was created by the 'save as new route' option when I edited the route to add some distance to bring it up to the length of the published route. I just made a minor edit and now its something more believable.  The last modified date must have been set to 0 😅

I did this perm without modification on Thursday and had no issues with snow and ice

Hi all, I'm considering joining you folks for an early sub-section of the route as I need to be home by noon.
I'll either join at the start and peel off, or ride backwards from the first control until I meet you and then return to the first control.
Either way I hope to see you on the road in the morning.

There's a conveniently marked spot called "Parking for Bicycles" at the Newton City Hall. I'll be there by 8:30:
Also, the V2 route starts from the intersection of Morton Street and Commonwealth Ave but we can join the route from Walnut Street and return via Morton to get the required number of miles.
