Hello All,

The 1200k is about 6 months away and I want to get a volunteer list together.   What we need most help with at the moment is route validation as only 50% of the route leverages roads NER uses or used in the past.  If you want to volunteer and can drive or ride some of the route that would be very helpful.  You don't need to drive/ride segments of the route now but before July would be helpful.  We will also need volunteer help during the event but we'll wait to ask for help on those days as the event approaches.

So far I've received emails from the following interested volunteers (Sorry if I missed some emails):

1) Steve Wimberg
2) Rob Gauthier
3) Benge Ambrogi

If you'd like to assist please send me an email or respond here. Let me know if you can drive or ride some sections of the route.

Best,

Jacob

Apologies for the second message.  If you'd like to pre-ride there will be a pre-ride group around 2 weeks up to the event.  You do NOT need to register next week if you're pre-riding.  There's another page where pre-riders can register and we'll give that out as the pre-ride date approaches.

So far the pre-riders are:
1) Jacob Layer
2) Doug McLerran

Best,

Jacob

Jacob,

Tsun reached out because I've been experiencing gaps with the address used in my NER reg.... which I'm working on.  My gmail works better.

I'm in for volunteering to staff a control.  Can do Lincoln/Conway again or where you need me.

On other threads... Fleche looks like fun...  I can't make the Fleche as I"m planning to ride the NJR 1,000K in May.

I may also be able to scout some routes... likely by car in spring or by bike in June/July.

Best,

John

I'd be down to volunteer. Either pre-ride, staffing a control, or both.

I'll take a look at my schedule and see what works for me. Was initially thinking of doing the NY Waterfalls 1300, so it might just be staffing a control, or I could just back out of that one... Decisions!
