300k this weekend and weather

Hey everyone,

I'm interested in doing the midcoast 300k this weekend and wanted to post to see if anyone was interested in carpooling from Boston. I was also going to ask if anyone could provide a place to camp near Portland the night before, but that brings me to topic #2...

It does appear that Hurricane Lee will be off the coast of Maine all Saturday. Already I'm flashing back to that 400k this spring. Being new to randonneuring myself, is it safe to say the event is still on?

This 300k ride has been postponed by a week, perhaps only the 2nd or 3rd time a NER/BBS brevet has been delayed. See https://ner.bike

The Berkshire region has a 100 and 200k brevet out of Westfield this weekend which are still scheduled. Looks to be pretty windy. (The Association might say everyone knows that.)

Yes the sign up for the 23rd postponed event has been up at BikeReg.  I myself will swallow the Downeaster-amnesia pill and plan to travel to Portland via Train...

NER will have a room at the finish hotel for any rider who would like to take a shower to clean up after the ride.

I do not see the 100k or the 200k out of Westfield listed any longer on the RUSA website.
