Hey everyone,

The forecast is looking great for tomorrow's RUSA Pie Day ride aka RBA Emeritus Alan's B-day ride. We currently have 5 riders so far plus one "maybe" for the event. If you have not already told/emailed me, please let me know by Friday 7pm if you're going to ride.

Cost of the ride is $10 to help cover the cost of the food. Venmo will be accepted for payments. We'll have post-ride pizza (pie) and chocolate cake.

If you would like a paper brevet card, feel free to download and print one. Electronic proof of passage will be accepted instead of brevet cards.

Queue sheets and the Ride with GPS track is on the website as well. You can download the waiver yourself, however you must bring the signed copy to the start. If you do that, send me a pic of the signed waiver before the ride start. I will have blank copies of the waiver available at the start. Registration begins at 8am and the ride starts at 9am.

Lastly, you must be a current member of RUSA to ride the 110k route. Here's the link to the 110k route page, https://raleighrando.web.unc.edu/110-km-70-miles/

Thanks, Mike O

Thanks Mike & the cool folks who rode yesterday! What a glorious day for a ride.. and I got to meet some new people!

I absolutely love the entire Bynum section (maybe even everything between Briar Chapel and Pittsboro) which I think makes this my favorite route... traffic be damned.

It was a perfect way to celebrate Pi Day and Alan's birthday!

Beautiful ride, beautiful weather, beautiful day eating pizza and cake with birthday boy Alan!

Here's a dump of mediocre/blurry photos I took on the ride: https://photos.app.goo.gl/w7WuoaKCCDg3NoR76

Major thanks to MikeO for organizing!

Hope to see some of you out for the 200 on the 28th!

Awesome pictures! I was sad to not be there. DR Rob said there is still a chance I'll be able to make it to the 200K. I tried to ride on Saturday and didn't even make it out of my neighborhood. Thanks for sharing these Brian!
