How does the Oudie use climb rate from FLARM?

See this thread which should be here:
Does the FLARM output PGRMZ (pressure altitude) sentences?  Does the Oudie use those?  They should be better for "vario" calculations than the GPS altitudes.

PS: sorry, I should have used the subject line "How does the Oudie use altitudes from FLARM?" - the climb rate is presumably calculated from those.

Are you discussing the Oudie 2? Saying "Oudie" can be ambiguous.

I was just mentioning that other thread, on RAS.  Seems like the person there said "Oudie 2", although others may want to know what the Oudie N does.
