Iguana,
I had told you that you should try and inject some intelligence into whatever come forth from your waspish mind.
Lack of electricity, bad roads, extortion by security forces etc etc, can you truly cross your heart and say whether it expanded or contracted under PMB.
Of course, we know the country is not there by any measure yet. However, did all these problems emanate under PMB?
Can you candidly say these issues were not worse under previous governments like GEJ et al?
Which government had committed more resources to infrastructural development, including your preference of roads and electricity, than PMB?
Which government in Nigeria made it a point in their policy not to commission new projects but to concentrate on abandoned projects of national importance including roads and electricity projects?
The problem with some of Nigerians like you is that you criticize just for the criticism sake and not for advancing the nation or ensuring an improved national life.
Yes, PMB is not above criticism and yes he may have inadvertently opened himself to some, but let it be on plausible critical issues and not on issues that he is head and shoulders above the previous crop of Nigerian leaders including your revered GEJ.
Compliments of the season to you and your loved ones. And I only say it in the spirit of yuletide and I'm in a splendid mood.See you on the other side of Xmas with your gloves back on and ready to spar with you imaginary friend that you call Ebohon or Ehohon! 😎😀😁

Just read below posting from JUI.
Only a buttlicker will see anything good in what Buhari’s administration is doing.
For now let’s leave talk of FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY aside.
Let’s start with the Levies that are STILL being collected from Nigerians DAILY by Law Enforcement Agencies (Police, army, customs, etc) at ROADBLOCKS across the country by those using PUBLIC OFFICES under Buhari’s Administration for personal gain, this is the definition of corruption at its highest order. TRUTH, beyond fact!
Due to these LEVIES - the economy of the country is TAXED to death, resulting in government borrowing, borrowing, and more borrowing. TRUTH, beyond fact!
Mohammadu Buhari’s BUTTLICKERS such as JUI displayed in his presentation below that Buhari is so and so and yet JUI is not residing in Nigeria where there is no electricity 24/7, no clean water, or even worst, the same JUI was just telling us days ago that CRITICAL transportation ROADS, Highways and or freeways to his township or village in Auchi is NOT driveable or damaged beyond use. Yet, he loves his Messiah Mohammadu Buhari. Hehehehehe!
I don’t judge anyone for loving their Messiah, like JUI loves the Messiah of Doom and Gloom, GENERAL and world renowned Despot Mohammadu Buhari.

That's why many Patriotic Nigerians (including yours truly) opposed the election of Buhari as President for that would obviously spell disaster for Nigeria.

Subject: Re: Re: [africanworldforum] Re: The Nigerian Donald Trump
Afis,There has to be something wrong with certain Nigerians, something so severe that they seem stupid, even though they are not stupid. These folks live in countries where the things they prescribe for Nigeria are absent, yet they shamelessly support the mediocrity in our land?
Here, I rented an armed to the teeth soldier as an orderly, and even at that I have to reshuffle soldiers every other day in order that they don’t get comfortable and collude with the underworld to do me in. What type of country is this and why would any investor, tourist, or anyone without aged parents visit it? The only time I see Custom Officers in civilized countries is when I am at points of entry, but in Nigeria they roam around streets, shops, homes, and even pull over vehicles. Yet Femi, JUI, and SteveK, who would raise hell if such things happened in their adopted countries, see nothing wrong with Buhari’s presidency. This administration lies so shamelessly that, by default, Nigerians no longer believe anything it says. For three years, this administration lied to Nigerians that FIRS was raking trillions of naira in revenue collections but just the other day, the new FIRS boss sent a letter FIRS employees lamenting the progressive decline in revenue collection since 2012—in other words, 2012 registered the highest revenue collection of over a trillion naira from 2011 to date; he then appealed to them to double their efforts, especially since multiple revenue collecting facilities/agents have been added to FIRS after 2012. Why were they lying that revenue collection by FIRS had hit the rooftop under Buhari’s presidency and why should we not assume that their similar claims about the Customs is also fraudulent?
Dasuki was locked up for four years without any conviction on any crime and in brazen violation of courts orders that granted him bail; Sowore was subjected to the same tyranny for almost 6 months, all this in a democracy? It took US frowning at such a totalitarian conduct for these folks to be released, yet these Nigerians, resident in countries where such an abuse doesn’t happen, still see nothing wrong with the Buhari presidency?
Poverty in Nigeria of today is three times worse than it was under PDP, the same thing applies to security and safety, yet Buhari’s worshippers see nothing wrong, even though the reason for electing Buhari was for him to fix things, not worsen them. Are Buhari’s supporters stupider than Trump supporters or they are merely disdainful of Nigeria and Nigerians? Why would any rational human being go along with the mediocrity, tyranny, ineptitude, and oppressiveness that is the Buhari presidency? Any human being who sees no problem with the current leadership of Buhari must have a mental problem up to stupidity. This is the same mentality being exhibited by Republican Senators and Congresspeople—excuse or explain away all shortcomings of president Trump. Whenever their excusing and explaining away don’t work, they attack critics, including journalists. How is Nigeria going to get better if folks are so worshipful of the leader that they go along with evil?

Afis comment: Alagba, you really outdone yourself this time!I won’t even say PIM on bad federal roads, you’re ridiculously hilarious on that one!Let’s start from security personnel:
Paul Omoruyi just posted some damning evidence about the Custom officers demanding money at gunpoint, which is government sanctioned Armed Robbery.Pls say it in Spanish “Uno”.
Cardi B, a singer from USA, just told the world that Nigeria has no electricity.Pls say it in Spanish “Dos”, which means lamba “Biu” in Hausa.
Sowore and other journalists were arrested to clampdown one Free Press... And your country’s senate right nah nah, is trying its unenlightened best to create a law to repress criticism from the people and the press.. A law initiated and encouraged by Buhari’s disdain for ANY criticism.

And have you not heard about the Edoid backgroud of most Agenebode people, although y'll fine different communities [Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani, Igbirra, Igalla, Ijaw etc] at Agenebode; inter-marriages have also produced several hybrid Agenebodeans, ALL AGENEBODEANS! The photo you say was taken after the Christmas church service at the Catholic church JUI received Confirmation in the 70s. Check the background and y'll see more people....
2. Agenebode has both very active and vibrant night and Day life....the very few incidents of auto accidents, robberies or kidnapping in the past have been reduced to almost ZERO in recent times. My children who came to spend Christmas at home have been driving around by themselves, even to neighboring villages [wish the roads are better maintained...], day and nite. It's rock-N-Roll everywhere …….village festivals, masquerades, group parties, burials, celebrations, reunions etc....
Nebu, come on down with your Relaxation Cottage project; Agenebodeans will welcome you as they ALWAYS do! After all, we've all been expecting the Idah-Agenebode Nigeria Niger Bridge for several decades......although still hopeful, nothing is happening yet......as you know, Nigerian Govt leaders can be very UNSERIOUS about infrastructural development....
Finally, JUI is ALWAYS very RELAXED at AGENEBODE....That's HOME! JUI,I am not going to waste time on this.
I don't know how or from where you derived your fantastic story that I turned against Buhari over night. My confidence in him began to wane after, in his first trip to the US as president and in an answer to a question posed to him, he said that he would treat Nigerians according to how much votes they gave to him. Ironically, the State Department had indirectly engineered that question with the expectation that President Buhari would seize on it to assure all Nigerians that he was their president, since he failed to do so during his inauguration speech. To my shock and to the shock of his hosts, he created that 97% and 5% dichotomy.
That speech confirmed the accusation of sectionalism labeled against him for decades and of which I had rejected. This was when I began to lose trust in him but I didn't abandon him. Shortly after that, he became sick and I stood by him throughout the illness, although I criticized the hanging of the presidential aircraft in London where it was accumulating fees.
Once he returned from his treatment, he began to act like a sectionalist and a tyrant brazenly. He locked up Nnamdi Kanu; he reversed Osinbajo's appointment of SSS Director -- because he is a Southern Christian; he lived true his promise of 97%/5% in his political appointments; he wouldn't include women in any meaningful number, and over time he became desperate for reelection. Throughout all of this, I asked people to give him a break because of the illness. I began to contemplate giving up on him after he deployed wuruwuru to remove CJN and to also get reelected. In other words, I did not give up on him completely until after his second term.
You are assuming that I gave upon him because you Nigerians are not used to a person like Nebukadineze -- a man who would criticize a politician he had supported. I am not like you guys; I am not one to defend incompetence and lawlessness, simply because the government in power was supported by me in coming to power. Political support is based on ideology, not personality. As much as I supported Buhari, I was never going to stand by him if he was emitting the charges his critics had long laced upon him.
I am not the only long time Buhari's supporter who no longer supports him; there are many of us, especially those of us who supported him solely because we believed that he would fix Nigeria, not because we expected anything from him. That's all that I can say now, and that's the fact.
Bye.

Let's perform a critical review of the history of your support for Buhari and JUI would bet that Nebu will actually impeach himself on this Buhari issue and may be rightly classified as hypocritical as Wharf Snake suggested recently.1. The vital records show that Nebu supported Buhari for the presidency of Nigeria in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015. This is a period of 12 years! This support was near cultic, fanatic, absolute and effervescent; had no tolerance for questions, clarifications or reflection. It was supposedly borne out of YEARS of dedicated discipleship and observation of Buhari, etc etc.

Compunction!
When some people tell you that you lie too much, you go bunkers....
Now, consider the following contortions and bizarre anomalies from you. (JUI)
It's weird that you began your piece with a lie. I don't go "bunkers" [bonkers] when people falsely accuse me of lying, I rather dress them down while proving their accusation false. I might be heated in addressing them but if your understanding of my method is going "bunkers" [bonkers], I won't dispute you since that is to the best of your intelligence. That you didn't understand a statement does not mean that the statement is contorted and full of bizarre anomalies, assuming that you understand the meanings of contortion, bizarre, and anomaly. There is no contortion in what you excerpted of me in your #1, if you insist there is, prove it.
- If the foregoing statement is not one of the greatest double-talking in Trump's oxymoronic communication style, tell us what else. First of all, your withdrawal of support for Buhari has to be either FACTUALLY GRADUAL or OVERNIGHT [SUDDEN]; it cannot be both. (JUI)
You cannot misunderstand something you read but then turn around to falsely accuse the writer of having not communicated appropriately. There is absolutely no oxymoron or double talk in what you excerpted of me -- in fact, I seriously doubt that you understand the meanings of those words. What you excerpted of me summarized three messages I had stated in my piece #4 to you. To wit: (i) I gradually withdraw from Buhari. (ii) the withdrawal was about policy/ideas. (iii) Assuming we accepted that I withdrew my support from him suddenly/overnight, as you keep repeating, there is nothing on earth that forbids me to so do. I had made those points over and over, yet you kept repeating your silly insinuation, instead of debunking me with facts, if you had any. To draw your attention to how illogical you were being, I purposely deployed the tautology, "repeated over and over". It did draw your attention, it confused you into egregiously distorting my message. How pitiful, JUI?
- And the records would show that your explosion of biliousness on Buhari started just few months after his election in 2015. He was just beginning to make appointments. JUI recollects that when some people initially complained about the appointments, they were told that there were more appointments on the way, and they should be patient because all regions and ethnic groups in the country would be represented as mandated by the Constitution. The point is that a longstanding supporter of Buhari that we thought Nebu was couldn't have turned on him so SUDDENLY.....no benefit of the doubts based on the long-term acquaintance of knowledge og the Guy; HABA! So will continue to tell you that your twisted explanations are not compelling.....keep trying!! (JUI)
You lied for the second time in the above. You have not disproved my claim that the 97/5% speech was the first discomfort I had with president Buhari, so we agree on that. Now, had you consulted the record, you would have found out that he made that speech in July of 2015, 4 months before he announced his cabinet. You lied that I unleashed an "explosion of biliousness on Buhari" over appointments. There had been rumblings over his appointment of aides other than Ministers. Those we had fought off on the claim that Buhari was a sectional Islamist were pointing out the he was appointing only Northern Muslim men. That alarmed me because he was playing into the hands of those who had traduced him over sectionalism and sexism. I remember Bolaji Aluko telling people that there were over a thousand more appointments to be made, to which a I reminded him that it still did not excuse the lopsidedness of the appointments so far made; in a multi-ethnic and multi-religion country, it is divisive of an elected president to appoint his aides only from his own section of the country and his own religion.
I am not like you folks who ignore a wrong doing simply because it is being perpetrated by a politician or persons you support. Wrong doing is wrong doing, irrespective of who perpetrates it. President Buhari was my candidate and he was doing something wrong in appointing aides in a manner that could trigger strife in the country (that was what started the civil war in South Sudan), I had an obligation to register my disagreement with it in a debate and I did so. I registered that disagreement in disputing the excuse that Bolaji made, not in unleashing an "explosion of biliousness on Buhari". I challenge you to excerpt me going off on Buhari over that if you insist on this lie.
- Realize that JUI has stated here again and again that he didn't know Buhari well.... so when we started reading some of the criticisms and labeling about Buhari and some of you were complaining, JUI's opinion was that Buhari himself should dispel the accusations, not just his supporters......The honest TRUTH was that JUI didn't know Buhari very well; and interestingly, Buhari himself eventually performed the rebuttals and he was persuasive in JUI's assessment. If Nebu can show us any of JUI's pre-2013 statement that suggested hatred for Buhari, JUI will donate $1,000 to Nebu's favorite Charity......True History of JUI's support for Buhari: The accurate records would reveal that JUI started embracing Buhari from 2013.....Buhari was taking the vital steps to dispelling the accusations of authoritarianism, tyrannical and religious/regional bigotry against him. So Nebu's insinuation on several occasions in this forum that Jimi Lawal and Mallam Nasir el-Rufai bribed JUI to start supporting Buhari few months to the 2015 presidential election, has no iota of truth in it. JUI was already in Buhari's corner in Summer of 2013 when Jonathan started pursuing his re-election rather then showing a leadership vision for security and development to Nigerians. Check the RECORDS! (JUI)
If I checked the record, it would prove that you lied mostly in your claim above. Buhari never took any steps to defend himself personally because it was well understood by his supporters and handlers that he was a poor and polarizing speaker, so the strategy adopted by his handlers was to prevent him from shooting himself on the foot or giving his opponents the opportunity to distort whatever he said. I dare you to cite one instance when Buhari spoke for himself and clarified anything in the degree you claimed.
I insist that you didn't start supporting Buhari until you returned from Nigeria in early 2015. I can't access my record from here (naija) but I cite just one email you wrote in October 2014. Atiku Abubakar had said, inter alia, “I believe that the next president of our country, who by the grace of God will be produced by our great party, must be someone who is a unifier, bridge-builder and not someone who bears ethno-religious bias. Above all, he must embody a vision of a Nigeria for all.” (http://nigeriavillagesquare.com/forum/threads/apc-presidential-aspirant-atiku-takes-a-swipe-at-buhari-on-his-ethnoreligious-bias.85410/). To the above, you responded:

- Let’s hear how the militant Buharists react to this headline! Where is Nebu Adiele, Barrister Okoi Obla, My Broda Pete Opara etc? Let's hear the Ogbunigbes and abuses raining on Atiku.........Hehehehe!!!
- As Aliyu Bala Aliyu said this morning: ""Well, I hope the Buhari PR guys and image makers are on standby to counter this and many more. And lest they forget, Atiku and company have just started. They will get dirtier as events unfold...And for heavens sake, rather than always countering Buhari's traducers [with abuses, expletives and yabis], isn't it about time they (his image handlers) proactively portrayed him in the best of lights?""" JUI endorsed that counsel whole-heartedly! Take care. JUI
In the above, you didn't call on Buhari to defend himself, you called on his supporters; you endorsed Atiku's expectation that APC would not nominate a religious bigot [Buhari] who would divide the Nigerian people; you also endorsed Aliyu Bala Aliyu's supposition that Atiku's gang had more ammunition to destroy Buhari over his perception as a tyrant, a sectionalist, and an Islamist. You wouldn't hold those views had you been supporting Buhari as from 2013 as you lied, JUI.
Drug abuse is a formed habit, which becomes addictive and destructive. Bill Clinton was not condemning or rejecting drug abusers, he was only asking those who have not gone into it to never go into it because it destroys families. There is no comparison between being gay and being a drug addict, gay people were born gay for no choice of theirs, that's what I believe now -- there are gay drug addicts too. Dick Cheney never rejected his gay daughter or is opposed to lesbianism as you claimed, he is only opposed to gay marriage -- folks know that he was saying that just to appease his conservative political constituency. He accepted his daughter and her lover and they steadily spent time at the VP residence; she and her lover are involved in the Cheney family in the same degree that his elder daughter (Liz) and her husband are involved in the family.
The two analogies you drew are flat out irrelevant. The hypocrisy is a father of a gay person joining ignoramuses to belittle gay people, instead of getting educated about gay people. I was as ignorant and disdainful of gay people as most of you until that incident with that young lady -- that I narrated. I began to believe that people were born gay from watching that girl from when she moved into our neighborhood at age 8, when her mother died and her aunt (our then neighbor) took her in. I never saw her hang with girls, wear dresses, or not play with boys as roughly as they played. When she lost the opportunity to get into West Point, simply because she had written on MySpace (there was no Facebook then) that she was "bi" (I didn't even know what that meant then), it dawned on me that gay people were actually mistreated based on their nature. At the same time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Constitutional Court was striking down laws made against gay people and gay marriage, so I educated myself about gay people. When some of you tried to insult me for defending their right on these forums, I took solace in the fact that civil right leaders of old had suffered real insults compared to your ignorant insults. When you joined them to doing the insult, I shook my head at your hypocrisy and ignorance; outing your family was to expose your hypocrisy, not to demonstrate that something is wrong with your gay offspring. There are no perfect human being or family, so you Bantus should stop acting like you are better than anyone, out of ignorance. When you act that way, you can be impeached with your imperfection exposed. Anyway, all those are bygones now, stop reviving them flippantly.

If you can say that in Nigeria, please give us example of Mohammadu Buhari’s OXYMORONIC COMMUNICATION STYLE.
JUI, why do you feel the need to INSULT President Trump and not feel the compunction of being thrown in jail for INSULTING President Trump? Is it due to the FACT that President Trump “govern” the country under Rule of Law? While, Mohammadu Buhari, your “Prophet”, governs OUTSIDE The Law, as with the case of IMPRISONING the just released from jail, Sowore, CHARGED for “insulting” Mohammadu Buhari.
Yep! Insulting Mohammadu Buhari, Hehehehehe!!!
JUI, and the rest of you, you know who you are - please stop attacking President Trump, every American do not appreciate such EQUIVALENCE that you make with President Trump to an Army General disguised in CIVILIAN Clothing and calling himself ELECTED by the people when even Buhari’s own INEC election rigging cannot document 10% of the voting population voting for the presidency. That is 1 out of 10 Nigerians DID NOT vote for Buhari and he won according to INEC. Hehehe!
JUI tells us, does Mohammadu Buhari has ANY oxymoronic communication style, ...?

Nebu Adiele,When some people tell you that you lie too much, you go bunkers....Now, consider the following contortions and bizarre anomalies from you.1. ""I have repeated over and over that my withdrawal of support for Buhari occurred gradually and was about policy, not personal. I added that even if such withdrawal occurred overnight, nothing says that it couldn't."""....Unquote: Nebu!If the foregoing statement is not one of the greatest double-talking in Trump's oxymoronic communication style, tell us what else. First of all, your withdrawal of support for Buhari has to be either FACTUALLY GRADUAL or OVERNIGHT [SUDDEN]; it cannot be both. And the records would show that your explosion of biliousness on Buhari started just few months after his election in 2015.
2. """If I were as illogical as you are being, I would insinuate that El-rufai and Jimi Lawal paid you to start singing Buhari's praises after you had been a virulent hater of him for decades -- you made that U-turn after returning from Nigeria in 2015, a few months to the election. """...…………..Unquote: Nebu!Nebu, you don't need to moderate your regular insinuation in these forums that Jimi Lawal and el-Rufai bribed JUI to support Buhari. Realize that JUI has stated here again and again that he didn't know Buhari well because he was just leaving Nigeria when Buhari became the Head of State from 1984-1985; so when we started reading some of the criticisms and labeling about Buhari and some of you were complaining, JUI's opinion was that Buhari himself should dispel the accusations, not just his supporters. However, Nebu wont even allow for such a request. Nebu said JUI was asking for Buhari's rebuttals because JUI must have believed that there could be any truth in whatever the accusers were saying about Buhari. Nebu said JUI was a beneficiary of the loots of corrupt Nigerian politicians and that was why JUI was asking for rebuttals from Buhari. The honest TRUTH was that JUI didn't know Buhari very well; and interestingly, Buhari himself eventually performed the rebuttals and he was persuasive in JUI's assessment. If Nebu can show us any of JUI's pre-2013 statement that suggested hatred for Buhari, JUI will donate $1,000 to Nebu's favorite Charity!
3. True History of JUI's support for Buhari: The accurate records would reveal that JUI started embracing Buhari from 2013 when it became clear after 2 years that: (a) Jonathan was CLUELESS about Nigerian security and development; (b) ACN and CPC were merging into a mega-party [APC] that could form a serious and stable Govt in Nigeria, and could provide an alternate to PDP; and [c] Buhari was beginning to embrace the reality that only a democratic, multi-regional party anchored on democratic principles could win a presidential election in Nigeria. In addition, Buhari was taking the vital steps to dispelling the accusations of authoritarianism, tyrannical and religious/regional bigotry against him.
Lastly, the records would show that JUI has NEVER called Nebu a gay or criminal, even when the point was made that the name Nebukadineze Adiele was not found anywhere among contemporary human records out of Africa. Besides, Bill Clinton had a drug abuser(s) in his family even as he spoke against drug abuse; and VP Cheney has a Gay/Lesbian in his family even as he publicly announced his lack of support for Gay/Lesbianism. So no right-thinking or serious-minded observer would consider it hypocritical for these leaders to express their opinions about criminality or sexual orientation just because their families had such issues. Furthermore, it's perhaps a warped thought process to derail from presenting valid opposing ideas in a substantive debate and settle into innuendoes and insinuations that are used in an effort to blackmail opponents into silence or cause provocations that don't enrich the ideas reservoir of the debate. It's rather childish, juvenile and unintellectual. And this is where JUI will rest his case on this issue.Take careJUI

First of all, it is not unheard of within refined minds that people who were on the same ideological platform could depart ideological over time or even suddenly. In a different thread, I gave two instances of Scaramucci and Coulter, two ardent supporters of President Trump (and who wrote two best seller books on Trump) but who are today among the sharpest critics of Trump. Another one is George Conway, who introduced his wife to Trump (and she managed his campaign into victory) and remains his closest confidant till today. Yet Mr Conway became anti Trump once Trump began to showcase: xenophobia, romances with bigots, collusion with Russia, etc. It didn't take long after Trump became president for Conway to go from his ardent supporter to his sharpest critic. As I write, he is the most vitriolic critic of Trump, up to calling for his removal from office and setting up a committee to ensure that elected GOP Reps.. and Senators who have ignored the US Constitution to defend Trump are defeated at the next election.
Nebu should realize by now that some people in these forums are not kids to be tossed up and down on these issues; we have our facts and we use them. Throwing Ogbwunigbe grammar and abuses or threats and blackmails here and there wont work......Take careJUI

EVENTS IN OTHER UNIVERSES FILTER INTO OUR DREAMING MINDS
Ozodi Thomas Osuji
I had the television on and fell asleep. In my sleep I dreamed of US military movements in Africa. I saw US troops in West Africa, East Africa and elsewhere in Africa. I woke up and looked at the still on television and General Carter who had been appointed the commander of US military presence in Africa talking to an interviewer about US military activities in Africa. He was not on the tube when I was awake and must have come on while I was asleep.
What he was saying apparently filtered into my dreaming mind. My body, brain, nervous system picked up what was going on on the television and incorporated it into my dream, albeit in a distorted manner.
I am very visual; my mind visualizes whatever it hears. If I am in a lecture hall and the lecturer is talking about, say, events in Europe my mind would visualize what he is saying in pictures of it taking place in Europe. In this situation the general was merely talking about US military formations in several parts of Africa without showing pictures of those military formations but my mind visualized the military formations as he talked about them, albeit in a distorted manner in my dream.
The lesson here is that when we are sleeping our bodies and minds pick up what is going on in the external world and incorporate them into our dreams. We respond to events in our day world while we are dreaming and supposedly have tuned out that world and are not aware of what is going on in it.
I am positing a hypothesis that our day world is also a dream. In this dream we do not know what is going on in other dimensions of being. Our brains somehow pick up what is going on in some dimensions of being. Events in other dimensions, other universes filter into our minds and we do not see or know about them as accurately as they are but distort them.
I have had what folks call near death and out of body experience. I have been in what folks call the world outside this world. I am not here arguing the veracity or lack of it of the world NDEs see. Knock yourself out arguing its reality or not. All I know is that I have seen me go outside my body, go through a dark space, see a point of light and pursue it and enter a world of light forms. That world still looks like our world except that everything in it is in light forms. People, animals, trees, houses, planets, stars, galaxies and everything in our world is in it but they are in light forms and are incredibly beautiful.
Tell me that I was dreaming and I say yes provided that you also tell me that what you call our world is a dream. In that light, there are many dream worlds each of them seemingly real for those in it, just as when you are in our world you take it as real even though it is not real.
Well, I have had out of body experiences and been to the world of light forms. I also know that that world is a dream world; it is not real just as our current world is not real.
I know that there is another world that is what folks call heaven. Heaven is formless. In it people are mere ideas, ideas of parts in an idea of a whole. The idea of the whole is what people call God and the idea of parts is what people call sons of God. There is God and there are his infinite sons.
God and his sons are in each other. There is no space or gap between them. Where one ends and another begins is nowhere, they have one self and one mind. They are in eternal union.
In their eternal union they are incredibly happy and peaceful. You cannot understand what I said unless you have had union experience.
To have union experience you must be a loving and forgiving person. Heaven and God are love. If you want to come to heaven, to God, to love, you must be a loving and forgiving person. Hate one son of God and heaven closes its doors to you.
Those who hate each other are sentenced to the prison house called planet earth. Yes, planet earth is a literal jail house for unloving persons.
Imperfectly loving persons are in the world of light forms and perfectly loving persons are in the formless world of God.
The point I am making here is that events in the world of light forms and in heaven do filter into our minds on earth. They do so in a distorted manner, just as when we sleep and dream our minds pick up events outside our bodies and distort them.
Some of us have extraordinarily sensitive bodies and minds. It is people like me who pick up events in other worlds whereas dense people, people closer to animals than to human beings, the unloving brutes that constitute the majority of mankind do not tune into what is going on in other worlds.
Before you show your little learning, may I remind you that in 1958 Hugh Everett, at Princeton University, wrote a doctoral dissertation, supervised by the great Nobel Prize Quantum physicist, John Wheeler, in which he argued that the Big Bang produced many worlds.
David Deutch of Oxford University has devoted his academic life to arguing for what he calls multiverse, the idea that there are many universes and that whereas we do not know about them they somehow affect us and we affect them.
I believe that the idea of multiverse is true. By the end of this century physics would have proved the existence of many universes. For now, let us see the idea as heuristic. Let us see my contention that ideas from other universes filter into our minds, albeit in a distorted manner, as a hypothesis. Let us just think about it and stop running around with the less than one percent understanding of known phenomena that we call knowledge.
Dark energy constitutes 73% of our universe and we know nothing about it; dark matter constitutes 23% of our universe and we know nothing about it. We have only begun understanding the 4% of our universe that is visible. We live in near total ignorance of our world and masquerade around as experts on things in our world.
And if you are one of those psychologists who say that NDE and OBE is the product of certain neurochemicals released in our brains when we are dying, may I ask you to prove your hypothesis with experiment. Real science accepts only what we can observe and experimentally prove.
In the early 1950s, two professors at the University of Chicago, Urey and Miller tried to prove the hypothesis that life originated in a pool of water where accidentally the sixty four elements in the human body (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, iron, copper, calcium, zinc, magnesium, potassium, phosphor, sodium, chlorine and so on) accumulated and heat from lighting made the elements to combine to form biological cells, flesh. We know that on earth bacteria formed about 3.5 billion years ago.
They placed those elements in a test tube and heated them up. They obtained a kind of jelly but certainly not animal flesh.
I wonder why other biochemists and biophysicists have not tried to improve on Urey and Miller’s experiment, and go on to figure out a way to speed up the jelly’s life for 3.5 billion years to see if human cells would form? And if human body is formed would it have consciousness?
If you believe that consciousness is produced by the permutation of elements in our brains, especially by electrochemical behavior in our brains please perform an experiment and prove it. Demonstrate that matter produced consciousness.
Until you do so I choose to believe that consciousness is not the product of matter, I believe that consciousness uses our human bodies to play with. Our bodies are like cars and consciousness is like drivers. Drivers use cars, our bodies to drive around. The nature of cars, our bodies affect the driver’s ability to drive around. Sick bodies impair our thinking.
And while you are at it let me tell you that I see God as a positive force and see hell as a negative force: I see God as kind of energy and matter and see hell as kind of like anti-matter and anti-energy. Those two forces are attacking each other trying to annihilate each other, as matter and anti-matter does.
After you have thought about my hypothesis then write about your finding and let me know about it; perform this thought experiment and let us read your result.
Post Script:
This after thought is mostly what occurred to me yesterday after I had posted an essay on how opposing forces make our world work. The thought is that I needed to have pointed out that the belief in solids is an illusion. Why so?
During the Big Bang a point of light, not larger than a pin’s head, came out of nowhere. It exploded into photons and sped off and the photons of that light formed electrons and quarks. Quarks formed protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons combined to form nuclei. 400, 000 years later nuclei captured electrons and atoms, mostly hydrogen and helium, were formed. The resulting cloud of hydrogen were separated into clumps. Each clump was acted on by gravity to form a star (in stars hydrogen atoms fuse into helium).
Exploded massive stars, supernova, produced elements beyond iron. The resultant 92 elements formed planets, comets, asteroids and medium sized stars such as our star as well as our bodies and everything else.
If you heat your body, animals, plants, land, mountains, planets, stars with enormous heat you would reduce them back to light.
That is to say that everything in the universe is light in a congealed form. If you had the right equipment you would see your body and all bodies as swirling light energy. The table and solid things around you are light in disguised forms.
Folks with purified eyes, that is, loving persons, do see things in light forms (love is light). This means that the idea of world of light forms is very scientific but it may not be obvious to dense minds as it is to sharp minds.
Only light exists.
Where did the physical light that formed our material universe come from? It came from what we do not know. I call the originator of the universe Spirit, not spirit as is understood by traditional religions, for those are primitive conceptions of reality.
In time science will prove that only formless spirit, aka consciousness exists. Hang around and keep learning from science and meta-science.

THE DECLARATION OF WAR ON YORUBALAND BY MIYETTI ALLAHThe National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Muhammadu Kirowa, says that the association have broken ties with the Yoruba nation for going ahead with their Amotekun Security Network. Kirowa speaking at Abuja says that the association and it’s affiliates will cease to support the political ambitions of the Yoruba people, saying that the much debated Amotekun Security Network was formed to disrupt cattle herders. We cannot be supporting those who are against us. The only reason for forming Amotekun is Fulani people, to drive us away from their land. Tell me are we not all Nigerians? I have seen that the Amotekun boys have been armed. If they are armed, we have no choice than to arm cattlemen because they need to protect themselves from the danger which Amotekun will pose to them. They cannot reject Ruga and also reject open grazing, they must choose one. All I can tell you now is that they are pushing us too far. They are really pushing us to the walls. We have held meetings with relevant government agencies and they promised to look into the issue. How can they go ahead with Amotekun when the police issued them notice to stop? How can they ignore the President’s directive? I see that there is an evil motive behind this security network.I heard they have also endowed them with charms to kill our cows. For any cow killed, their government will pay double for it. For every Fulani herdsman killed, violence will erupt. We have been oppressed for too long. It’s time to tell Yoruba people that we are not cowards and by Allah’s power, we will crush Amotekun and crush all their evil plots against the Fulani race.
A COURSE IN MIRACLES’ PHILOSOPHY AND ME
Ozodi Osuji
A course in miracles teach that there is no physical universe and there is no me in ego and body in a nonexistent universe. There are no other people in that non-existent universe, either.
The universe that I and other people see is a dream in our collective minds. We are always in unified spirit state, in heaven; while there we sleep and dream the seeming universe of space, time and matter and see us in it and it seems real to us. It is not there and we are not in it.
This is total denial of our physical universe and the people and activities done in it. The physical universe denies heaven’s spiritual reality and a course in miracles reverses that denial and denies the universe and affirms heaven’s reality as the only reality there is.
It says that right now, I am in spirit and while there dream and see me in body. My dreaming mind made my body problematic so that my dream self, the ego may use the dream frustrations of the body to feel angry at the dream universe that gave me such a pained body. I use my dreaming mind to have dream persons frustrate my dream ego, by not doing good things for me, from childhood, to feel angry and justify my anger at people and my fear.
Other dream selves are doing what I am doing to make them feel that their dream egos and bodies are real for them.
Our goal, my goal is to forget our real self, the son of God, Christ and see our dream self, ego and body as real. That is what the universe is for, to make the dream self and body seem real and determine what we do. Pained we defend the dream self and body and in doing so make the dream self and body real in our awareness and perpetuate the dream, perpetuate our sense of specialness and separation from spirit, God.
DECIDE THAT THE DREAM IS NOT REAL, THE DREAM SELF AND BODY IS NOT REAL AND DO NOT WISH OR DEFEND THEM
The book says that I can decide to see me as not my dream ego and body and see the dream selves and egos I see as not real (realizing that each self I see on earth has a son of God dreaming through it and he, like me, does not know that he is a dream self and deceive his self to believing that he is his dream self and body and like me defends his dream self and body, believing that if they are attacked and killed and die he would die.
No one can attack people without their wish and they do not die even when they seem to die in the dream for it is dream death.
The people I see on earth die have not died; they seem to have died in dream death but have not done so for they were never born in body, did not live in body and do not die.
If I decide that I am not my ego and body, since the objective of the dream is to make me seem the ego and body, if I stop being aware of body and ego then my ego and body would disappear from my awareness and I would become aware of myself as the idea of part, son of God in the idea of whole-self called God, a formless self.
THE DREAM DENSE BODY AND THE DREAM LIGHT BODY
When I have experienced myself as a formless self, I can reenter the dream as either a dream dense body or a dream light self; I do so not to live in the dream for I have transcended the dream but to interact with dream selves and help them.
If I still wish to be in the dream then I reenter it as an enlightened self in it, now no longer seeing me as the dream self in body, dense body or light body are not me; I am formless spirit self that can take on dream body or dream light body to help those still attached to dream bodies and egos. Now I have the power of God via the Holy Spirit, the part of God that is in the dream but has the power of God. I can use that power to give me whatever I need to help people in the dream, including unlimited money and ability to perform miracles.
PEOPLE CAME TO THE WORLD TO BELIEVE THAT IN EGOS AND BODIES THEY HAVE WORTH; LEAVE THEM ALONE; THEY CANNOT CHANGE IT AND IF THEY DO THEY AWAKEN FROM THE DREAM
The sons of God came to earth, to the dream to make their dream selves and bodies seem real, to make their ego and bodies, nothingness seem to have worth. That is what they are doing.
Knowing that that is what they are doing would not make them stop doing it for if they stop seeing themselves as egos and bodies and stop valuing their egos and bodies they would not be on earth.
Telling people to stop valuing their egos and bodies, asking them not to seek ego importance, prestige and power would not make them stop doing so; they would not even listen to me for they do not want to hear that; they came here to make their egos and bodies seem important.
Perhaps, in every millennium, one thousand years one person gives up valuing his ego and body, stop seeking body based worth.
THE PURPOSE OF THE WORLD IS TO MAKE EGO AND BODY SEEM TO HAVE WORTH; MAKE THE WORTHLESS AND WHAT DOES NOT EXIST SEEM TO HAVE WORTH
The whole purpose of the world and the universe is to make the ego and body seem important and powerful so as to oppose God and seem powerful.
Human civilization and society exist to make ego and body seem worthwhile. We work for food, medications, clothing, houses to maintain our egos and bodies in existence; everything we do on earth are all designed to make our egos and bodies seem worthwhile.
All we do is protect our egos and bodies yet those will die. That which needs negative protection, with fear and anger, depression, paranoia, mania and eventually dies has no worth and is better off dead. Except that as non-existent things they do not die. Stop valuing and seeking them and see them disappear, not die.
Leave people to dance their dream dance. Stop dancing the dream dance by not seeing me as ego and body, by not valuing ego and body and by disappearing from ego and body world. Leave people to dream ego body worth for that is the nature of human existence and civilization; that is what people came to earth to do.
Do not moralize about people valuing nothing, do not berate people for valuing nothing but get you out of the nothing dreams and know peace and joy.
Each person lives in his private hell by seeking ego and body, this world. If anything, as Buddha said, have compassion for them while understanding that they are where they chose to be and are doing what they came to do and even if you stand on your head upside down and preach letting go of their attachment to the ego and body and the world they would not do so, for they are too deep in sleep to even know what you are talking about.
DO NOT FEEL HUMILIATED FROM RECEIVING GIFTS FROM PEOPLE FOR THAT IS EGO AND PRIDE
When you live from egolessness people would be giving you things; if you are in ego you would feel ego pride injury and feel humiliated.
You are not ego and cannot be humiliated. Those who do God’s work are supported by those in deeper dream who work and give them the money to live on so as to be on earth and teach egolessness, which they vaguely listen to but do not yet want to practice to awaken from the dream.
THERE IS INEVITABILITIES IN LIFE
What happens in the world has to happen. This is true at the larger, macro level as well as at the smaller, micro level. Every society is where it needs to be for the people are having those dreaming.
Every individual is where he needs to be, for he is the one dreaming his life. There is nothing that you can do to change the world for the world reflects our present ego thinking.
We can change the individual’s dream but changing the dream at the collective level takes thousands of years. The universe will last trillions of years thus be giving all God’s children the opportunity to come and dream that they are special, separated selves. You cannot end the collective dream today.
Everything that happens to me or to you is my dream and your dream and it is the way it is until each of us has different dreams and have different life experiences.
Collectively, Africans are having their primitive dreams, Europeans are having their narcissistic dreams and Americans are having their racist dreams. They have to have those dreams despite your wishes. Instead of worrying about the collective stupidity of mankind awaken from the dream, let go of your desire to be in ego and body and the world and awaken and become the teacher for those in the dream telling them what to do to awaken.
Until you awaken you are an unhealed healer and cannot heal those in dreams, that is, awaken them.
HAVE FAITH IN YOUR BELIEF AND GIVE UP FEAR AND DOUBT (FEAR AND DOUBT IS OF THE EGO).
Fear and doubt are the teachings of the ego telling one that one does not know the truth but should live in the tentative world of the ego and its science where there is no truth.
First believe in your truth, then live it, act on it and you see the fruits of your belief. But as long as you do not believe in it and act on it and is fence sitting, merely talking about the truth, is wishy-washy, vacillating you are not going to see the results you wish.
THE WORLD CAME INTO BEING BECAUSE WE WISHED IT AND ACTED ON OUR BELIEF; IT WILL END WHEN WE WISH AND ACT ON ITS OPPOSITE
You believed in the reality of the ego special, separated self and its world to see you in it; now reverse the belief and believe in unified spirit self and let go of the ego and act on that belief and see your ego, body and world disappear.
Until you first belief and act accordingly you will not see the world you are wishing for, the world of light forms and ultimately the formless world of God.
Post Script:
DR O STILL VALUES THE EGO AND ITS WORLD
Dr. O still values his ego and body; he values his Igbo society, values black people, and sees attacks on them by white dream figures as real. He wants to punish racists for what they did to blacks. That is, he takes dream attacks as real. He does not forgive what is done in dreams. He does not yet know that the world is a dream that can be overlooked.
Therefore, he is not an enlightened, illuminated person. He is in his private ego hell. It will take a long time to heal him. Instead of wasting my time trying to heal him I must heal me by seeing the world as a dream and not value it and let it go and have Holy Instant and return to the dream as a light self or dense self but all along living in the formless world of God.
Like Adolf Hitler he wants to establish a one-thousand-year new world order that he rules, his millennium of God’s glorious kingdom.
The man is an egotist hence does not know that God means not valuing things of the ego. Leave him alone.

Why APC Should Tame Tinubu Before Oshiomhole
By SKC Ogbonnia
March 18, 2020
It did not come as a surprise that Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole would survive the latest move to sack him as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His opponents have been hitting the tail instead of the head. The gist is that Oshiomhole’s tenure of crisis cannot be divorced from the overbearing ambition of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to rule Nigeria at all costs. Therefore, instead of chasing shadows, it has become imperative to muster the courage and go all out to tame the former Lagos State governor.
Make no mistake: Tinubu, the National Leader of APC, has every right to seek the presidency. More essentially, his role in the Nigerian democracy can never be belittled. This informs why I had to admonish President Muhammadu Buhari earlier in his first tenure for alienating the Asiwaju. I asserted then (and still believe) that, “if dynamic opposition is the life-wire of a democracy, it is very fitting then to name him (Tinubu) the saviour of Nigeria’s current democratic journey.” Regrettably, the manner Tinubu has been pursuing his presidential ambition is not only becoming an existential threat to APC as a party but also to the same democracy he helped to save.
The problem is rooted in Tinubu’s naked godfatherism. The canker began to grow when the Asiwaju was made to believe that he solely influenced the nomination of Buhari. Further, after his failed bid to grab the vice-presidential ticket, Tinubu was allowed to handpick his longtime ally for the position, so that peace could reign. Worst still, the former Lagos State governor would retain the titular title of National Leader, thereby creating an impression of two captains in one ship. As if that was not enough, he attempted to also dictate the leadership of the Legislature but failed. This failure, remember, led to the first major crisis in the party and the mass decampment that followed before the 2019 general elections.
The most mystifying, however, is that, despite the fact that his primary fiefdom, Lagos, is constantly ranked as one of the worst estates on earth, it has not deterred Tinubu from the morbid desperation to rule other Nigerian states by proxy. The more troubling is his do-or-die approach. For instance, the next major crisis after the National Assembly debacle was his plot to hijack the 2016 Ondo State governorship primary election against the rightful winner, the current governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. The outcome was a nasty fallout between the Asiwaju on one side and both the then National Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun and President Buhari on the other side. In attempt to restore a sense of normalcy before 2019 elections, Buhari had to go out of his way to appease Tinubu by easing out Oyegun.
Enter Adams Oshiomhole. President Buhari misread him as a simplistic khaki-wearing independent-minded party man who could contain Tinubu. But Oshiomhole was understandably desperate for attention after leaving office as Edo State governor and did not want to end the Oyegun way. The new chairman quickly accepted to function as a mere lackey. Oshiomhole’s main function, therefore, has been to perfect Tinubu’s plot to install his cronies across the country towards a presidential bid.
Not surprisingly, the APC would go on to suffer the most crisis-ridden party primary exercise in the national history. Every APC structure, from the states to the federal, including the Legislature, and President Buhari and his cabinet, had a bitter taste of the crisis. Only Coronavirus could have been as toxic and widespread. The saving grace for the APC in the 2019 electoral cycle was that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), the main opposition party, fielded a deeply flawed presidential candidate in Atiku Abubakar.
Tinubu’s style of godfatherism is a threat to national unity and has worsened since Buhari won a second term. Recall how the Asiwaju shamelessly cornered all the important positions zoned to the South to himself or his cronies from Western Nigeria, as if somehow the APC in the South is a one-man show. Lest we forget, the APC came into being as an amalgamation of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) led by Buhari; the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) led by Tinubu; the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) led by Ogbonnaya Onu; a faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Rochas Okorocha, and the new PDP led by Alhaji Kawu Baraje. Needless to mention the powerful roles of Southern Igbo, such as Pat Utomi, Chibuike Amaechi, Osita Okechukwu, Chris Ngige, Annie Okonkwo, Joe Igbokwe, among others.
Yet, today, there is no meaningful office holder within the APC as a party or its government from the entire Eastern Region besides statutory ministerial appointments, thanks to Tinubu’s southern strategy of divide and conquer. In short, at no time in post war Nigeria has a region suffered this type of political blackmail. The height of the hypocrisy is that Bola Ahmed Tinubu—in terms of shrewd godfatherism and shadiness—is even far worse than his targets in the East, Rochas Okorocha not excluded.
Now, consider that Tinubu now believes that he has successfully humbled the East with a montage of opportunistic politics. Combine that notion with the assumption that the North is now under his palm, especially given the fact that the Asiwaju dictated the content and the character of the current government—from the leadership of the ruling party to both the executive and the legislative arms of power. Visualize such political oddity with the reality that the former Lagos governor is now zeroing in on his potential 2023 opponents in the West, as can be gleaned from the current crisis blazing through Edo and already rearing its ugly head into Ondo. There and then emerges the danger inherent in Tinubu’s role within APC and beyond. Even Vladimir Putin of Russia Republic has not shown this type of pestilent appetite for power. O to ge!
This is a perfect time for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to step aside. He no longer has the credibility to grandstand as the face of the APC. His exit as a National Leader will solve two fundamental problems. First, it will effortlessly sweep off Oshiomhole’s tenure of un-ending crisis. Second, it will not only reposition the party leadership with men and women of impeccable character, but also in line with true democratic ideals, particularly a level playing ground for electoral offices, including the presidency.

Abba Kyari: A Loyalty At The Nation’s Peril
By SKC Ogbonnia
April 24, 2020
The death of Abba Kyari, the former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has elicited a great deal of controversy, but the posterity demands that the history of our leaders bears the truth.
Without doubt, the history of Kyari will cite powerful voices that remember him as a very loyal servant. These voices were diverse. They came from different shades of the political spectrum. They came from different parts of the country.
The Minister of External Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Kyari’s friend for over 42 years, delivered a testimonial for the ages. An excerpt reads as follows: “Abba was loyal to a fault. He decided he was going to protect his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari at all costs and would take any number of bullets for him. And he did!”
The most compelling yet came from no other than Femi Fani-Kayode, a frontline critic of the current government, and a former Minister of Aviation, who had equally known Abba Kyari for over 40 years. Kayode put politics aside to tweet that the Mallam was a good and loyal man.
Not to be forgotten is the eulogy from a prominent member of the main opposition party and a former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, who mourned that “no chief of staff anywhere has shown as much loyalty and commitment as he showed to President Muhammadu Buhari.”
But none has meant more than a special tribute from President Buhari himself. The president, a man not known for many words, could not hide his emotions when he described the departed Chief of Staff as his “dearest friend”. Even his harshest critic would marvel at the point Buhari wrote that Abba Kyari “strove quietly and without any interest in publicity or personal gain to implement my agenda.”
The accolade from the venerable Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, is not only instructive, it also provokes another vital foreground to my thesis. He wrote: Abba Kyari “executed President Buhari’s vision with his own single-mindedness…He was driven by conviction and never shied from an intellectual argument because his intellect was vast.”
The problem, a huge problem, is that the Buhari’s vision, as well as conviction, have been an embarrassing failure. In short, if his presidency were to end today, he would have been remembered as the nation’s worst civilian leader ever. No close second! Where does one begin and where does one end? There is palpable anger in the East, North, South, and West. Even where Buhari recorded some measurable success, such achievements usually fail to engender hope, because of his style of leadership.
Besides Buhari, no one is more associated with this failure than Abba Kyari, the president’s most trusted and influential ally. Said differently, Mallam Kyari was so single-minded to Buhari’s visions and convictions—visions and convictions well proven to be stridently divisive, unjust, inhumane, and unpatriotic.
This view must not be misconstrued as suggesting that leaders should always waver in their visions or convictions. The point is that any worthwhile vision or conviction must not be antagonistic to the greater good. Moreover, political rigidity, which Mr. Kyari roundly endorsed, is another name for dogmatism, which typically leads to destructive power. Hillary Clinton phrased it more mildly: “easy consensus can lead, over time, to poor decisions.”
Therefore, even as Abba Kyari was a hardworking man, a good friend to his close associates, a good father to his children, a good husband to his wife, a loyal servant to the president, and a gentleman in the society; common sense dictates that he was overly naïve. His much-touted loyalty to President Buhari was not only a naked nescience, it was also a clear case of blind following. It was a loyalty at the nation’s peril.
This failure explains why the true history of the late Kyari ought to include a chapter devoted to the fact that more Nigerians rejoiced over his death than the few who mourned him. The history deserves to mention that the degree of glee that trailed his demise had not been witnessed since the death of Sani Abacha, the maximum dictator who ruled the country from 1993 to 1998.
Kyari’s case, a death from Coronavirus, was even more ironic. Despite the excruciating effect of nationwide lockdowns intended to mitigate the pandemic, many were celebrating his misfortune, with some openly praying, wishing that the COVID-19 could become a regular phenomenon, if only it could continue to claim the likes of Abba Kyari.
Some members of the inner caucus of the ruling party were not left behind. The Kano State Commissioner of Works, Mu’azu Magaji, could not hide his excitement when he wrote that the passing of Abba Kyari is a welcome breeze for the Nigerian people. The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, could not imagine anything more befitting than to pray that Allah could forgive Mr. Kyari’s sins.
The truth is that the name, Abba Kyari, by his actions or inactions, is widely seen as a taboo among the Nigerian masses. This notion accounts for why one of his most ardent adherents, the governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, did not hesitate to disassociate himself from a story making the rounds that the governor was planning to immortalize the late presidential aide.
A more troubling predicament is that many politicians are falling on top of each other, begging to become the new Chief of Staff, to become as blindly loyal to the president as Abba or even worse.
May the soul of Mallam Abba Kyari rest in perfect peace. I also pray that no Nigerian president is ever blinded with Mr. Kyari’s type of loyalty. May the Almighty grant President Muhammadu Buhari the wisdom to recognize the genius of critical opinions. I pray that he can truly change to become the best president some of us had hoped he could become.
