Next will be ban on sales of Nigerian oil anywhere and foreign trade restrictions.

Whoever knows these illiterate Fulani criminals in Abuja pillaging Nigeria, should tell them to reverse their idiocy messing with Twitter ASAP.

The storm is gathering and will sure hit.  Nigerians themselves should troop out en-mass on streets to remove Buhari and minority Fulani from power before it is too late.

Problems do not solve themselves, people do.

Social media giant, Facebook has joined Twitter in removing President Buhari’s controversial civil war statement.

Earlier on Friday, June 4, the Federal Government announced that Twitter has been suspended in Nigeria. This came after Twitter deleted the president’s controversial statement and the video where he made the statement.

The banned statement made by Buhari reads: “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

Now, Facebook has followed suit. Facebook said it deleted Buhari’s statement because it violates its standards and is capable of inciting violence.

Unlike Twitter where the specific tweet was deleted while the rest of the thread with President Buhari’s speech was allowed to remain on the platform, Facebook removed President Buhari’s entire message.

Giving reason for deleting the statement, Facebook said: “In line with our global policies, we have removed a post from President Buhari’s Facebook page for violating our community standards against inciting violence.

“We remove any content from individual or organisation that violates our policies on facebook.”

Facebook has deleted President Buhari's  civil war statement for violating its community standards against inciting violence.

It would be recalled that the President had threatened punishment for regional secessionists blamed for attacks on government buildings.

Buhari, who served in the army stated on Tuesday that many people misbehaving today were too young to remember the deaths and destruction from the civil war.

A quick check shows that Facebook has now removed the post from their platform, as the whole statement, has been removed from the social media platform for violating Community Standards against inciting violence.

The social media giants reiterated its commitment to remove any content, from individuals or organisations that violates Facebook policies.

“In line with our global policies, we’ve removed a post from President Buhari’s Facebook page for violating our Community Standards against inciting violence. We remove any content, from individuals or organisations that violates our policies on Facebook.”

Recall that micro-blogging platform, Twitter, also deleted Buhari’s tweet where he issued a threat to deal with “misbehaving” elements in “the language they understand”, while making reference to Nigeria’s civil war.

While defending its action, the tech company said the President’s tweet violated its rules.
