I watched the video, and I know more ..... IKWERRE IS BENIN-RELATED, just as my FULANI is FUTA JALON.

The WAHALA for Igbos is that the IGBOLAND IS TIGHTLY LANDLOCKED, AND THE IGBOS WANT ACCESS TO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN, THE ONLY WAY LIFE CAN BE BETTER FOR IGBOS IS BY ANNEXING IKWERRELAND, EITHER BY GUNS OR BY CUTLASS.

Now,

Only a foolishly foolish IKWERRE man will give his newborn baby an Igbo name.

Enough of Chukwu-chukwu, Emeka-emeka, their must be an IKWERRE name for GOD.

May your tribe increase .... so they pray ..... How can IKWERRE tribe increase, if IKWERRE men keep giving their children Igbo names?

ANY IGBO NAME ON ANY INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT IS AN HEADACHE FOR THE CARRIER OF SUCH PASSPORT AT ANY IMMIGRATION LINE IN SO MANY FOREIGN COUNTRIES BECAUSE IGBOS HAVE COMMITED SO MANY CRIMES IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES THAT GETS THEM PADDED DOWN SUSPICIOUSLY BY THE CUSTOMS AGENTS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES .... EVERYDAY UP UNTIL TODAY.

THERE ARE MORE IGBOS IMPRISONED IN SO MANY COUNTRIES ALL OVER THE WORLD THAN THERE ARE IN IGBOLAND. 

GO TO WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES (EVEN TOGO), IGBOS PLENTY IN THEIR GULARS THAN THERE ARE IN UMUAHIA.

If CHUKWUEMEKA OKALA, an IKWERRE man passes through any immigration line in any airport in any Asian country today, he will be stripped naked and probed disrespectfully, under the suspicion of  CONCEALED ILLEGAL DRUGS ..... Let any Igbo prove me wrong and pass through Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia, China, Afghan, etc. and tell us how they are treated by their Custom and Immigration agents.

In fact Ndigbo wouldn't have had any wahala had they believed in Nigeria as a country to which they belong. Why would being a landlocked space constitute a problem to them when we have many outlets (sea ports) to the Atlantic in the country such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri and so on at the disposal of anyone interested? But unfortunately the HEART of an average Igbo man is on the achievement of a senseless republic of Biafra. This is the reason why they obey IPOB to the hilt whenever that outlawed organisation imposes a Sit-at-Home order in a political landscape that boasts of five (5) governors that enjoy humongous security votes. Who is deceiving who? 

The Igbos should get it very clearly that no ethnic group in Nigeria can annex the other in this 21st century. No way! IMPOSSIBLE!!! For their own good, they should either accept to live as law abiding citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or keep struggling in vain for an UNTENABLE state of Biafra and remain perpetually irrelevant in the scheme of things in Nigeria. The choice is entirely theirs. But whatever they decide, they should not rub it on their sister ethnic group, the Ikwerre people. They should leave us alone and carry their cross alone! Ikwerre is NOT Igbo, has NEVER been Igbo and WILL NOT be Igbo for as long as the world lasts!!

I swear to God, in my own book, the IKWERRE people are one of the most SENSIBLE, TRUTH-TELLING, and a force to reckon with, south-south of Nigeria, and NIGERIA as a whole ..... MAY THEIR TRIBE INCREASE ..... Amen

I will never understand, no matter how anyone try to help me understand, the Ikwerre is Igbo or not Igbo brouhaha. The Ikwerres have always said than they are not Igbo and are not interested in being part of the Igbos. What am I missing here? Na by force? 

If the Igbo have the means to subjugate the Ikwerres they would have done it a long time ago.

The Ikwerre (natively known as Iwhuruọha are one of the Igbo Subgroups in Rivers State. Traditional history has classified Ikwerre into seven groups called "Ikwerre Essa".
