Hi,

I switched to MLO some days ago and so far I am quite excited about the possibilities.

One common use case for me is to have a task that references some "ticket" in other systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps. The best option so far to add the corresponding link is to paste it as a note. What I'm trying to do is create a way to open the corresponding link via a keyboard shortcut when the task is selected. I have not found any way to achieve that with MLO 5. Any ideas?

A simple "workaround" would require the ability to copy the note content with a keyboard shortcut. That would allow me build an AutoHotkey script to "copy note -> parse content for a link -> open link". But I currently cannot find a shortcut for "copy note" either.

Since "links" are a common thing to attach to tasks also for other use cases like "read later", maybe it would be worth considering them a special property of a task (separate from notes) in some future version?

Thanks
Christoph

Hi,
After task is selected, Alt+1 changes selection to its note. Then you can select all using Ctrl+A. And then Ctrl+C.

Hi,

thanks for the answer, that actually works. Great idea, problem solved. Although I still would consider links and maybe attachments useful properties of a task.
I've moved to MLO from a Trello Todo-Board recently. And while task hierarchies and extensive properties for scheduling made me switch, I still miss the easy ways to attach links, images (clips, screenshots etc.) to a task.
