Steph,
What does icon position do? More exactly, I know that 0 places the icon in front of the task. But what does icon position 1 and 2 do?

Subject: [MLO] Re: Custom symbol for folder?
Hi Toms..., Stéph
I would like to add that, by default, MLO comes with an autoformating rulle which displayes a note-icon for tasks with notes.
To see the icon just add the "icon" column to the view.
If you witsh the note-icon to replace the folder icon - just change the icon position from 2 to 0, as follows on this screenshot:

Hello Toms...
On the desktop version of MLO, you can put custom icons in the folder icon position based on whatever criteria you choose, using Automatic formatting rules (just make sure you have the rules in the right order, though). For other devices, yes, that would be a useful feature to be able to use the same automatic formatting rules.

I really like MLO and I use it daily but there is some things that I miss though:
I would like to be able to use MLO for more note taking. Espesially when markdown for the note field on android gets supported. For now I can just give a task a context or a flag labeling it as a note but it will still be a task that is "clickable". making it a folder is the next better step but then it will get mixed up with other folders. This is mostly fixable with good filtering but in some views it will still be a problem.
I think it will add a lot more flexibility to be able to just give a folder (which is really just a task that is not clickable) the possibility to have different icons. Or perhaps even adding new type as "Note". I would still want to be able to have custom icons though :)
So this maybe turned out to a wish for two new functionalities... well well.
