Just started - on Mac - cant get tasks to shift to new locations

Simple question - just started - am on Macbook via Crossover - can't shift tasks around using 'control' button -> Mac's left click - what to do? Really limits creating an outline. Thanks for any suggestions.

PS: on free version - perhaps I need to register to activate that ability?
