Why do tasks with no dates, 0 importance and 0 urgency display at the top of the Active tasks list?

I have a task that's a kind of "whenever" task.  It's not one that I have to have done any time soon, but I don't want to forget about it either.  I haven't set Start or Due dates on it and have set the Importance and Urgency sliders both to 0 but it still shows up at the very top of my Active Tasks list.  I've turned on the display for Urgency and Importance in the Task Statistics and it's showing as 0.99 which doesn't make sense to me since the doco says these figures are based on time (date), importance and urgency.

If I give it a date way in the future, it will drop down to the bottom of the list but this seems like a kludgy workaround to the problem.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just how it works?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Anthony. Without seeing the rest of your profile I can only guess. Here's one guess. Low importance (or urgency) for a task doesn't say that the task is unimportant. It says that the task isnt important to the completion of its parent. If the parent for some reason is highly important that might in some circumstances offset the low importance of the subtask.

Do you think you could set up a test profile with all of your sensiive or private information stripped out, but that still showed this problem? If so pkease send it to the forum so someone can have a look
