Preset properties

Is it possible to set some pre-set properties that are used for each newly created task? (other than using a template)?

Sadly not. On various other threads I've suggested that we have configurable options for preset or inherited dates, categories, flags, etc, but the MLO team hasn't implemented anything like this so far. It would be great if it get's to the top of their to-do list sometime, because having control of preset and inherited parameters would save a lot of clicking and selecting on each new task that I add.
