Hi,

A recurring problem in MLO, and one which has prevented me really utilizing it properly for a long time, is that any due date later than today causes a decrease in the urgency category.

However, in my world, anything with a due date is always more important than something without one. And something with a due date of tomorrow is vastly more urgent than something which has no due date at all. Yet at the moment, something with a due date of tomorrow will sink below tasks without a date at all in the computed ranking.

Could we please have it changed, or offered as an option, that due dates only increase the urgency of an item? This really would change my ability to get things done with MLO.

Thanks,

Scott

I tend to use the Due Next 7 Days view first to prioritise my tasks, before checking the other views. I Star those tasks I want to do immediately/soon.

Just need to find time to do it all now!

Agreed. For me, no date should always be less important than an item with a set due date.

This is one thing that has always bugged me about MLO and I constantly fight it. Items with due dates should always have a higher importance that items without.

I like the idea of having due date only increase urgency as that way I can still assign a lower urgency to items to rank them lower if I need to, but by default, items with due dates would tend to always bubble towards the top and not get lower just because they are out further.
