Hi to all,

my need is described by the title; I'd like that all the folders that contain almost a task in their root will be rendered in bold style.

Here an example in order to explain better:

-----------------------------------------------------
folder 1 [<<< it contains task 1.a]
> task 1.a
> folder 1.2
---> task 1.2.a
---> task 1.2.b
-----------------------------------------------------
folder 2 [<<< it doesn't contains tasks]
> folder 2.1
> folder 2.2
-----------------------------------------------------
folder 3 [<<< it doesn't contains tasks in its root]
> folder 3.1
---> task 3.1.a
---> task 3.1.b
> folder 3.2
---> task 3.2.a
-----------------------------------------------------

Thank you for every suggestion!

Marco

In your example, should folders 1.2, 3.1 & 3.2 be bold as well?

So if I'm understanding correctly, you want the holding to occur if and ONLY if
1. The folder is at the root level
2. The folder directly contains tasks

You do NOT want this to occur if
1. The folder is not at the root level (I.e. It is a sub folder)
2. The folder is root level, but only contains sub folders, even if those sub folders contain tasks.

Could you explain your use case for this particular configuration?

Hi Trish,

you pointed out a crucial point!

The answer is YES, I want the name in bold if the folder contains any task, it doesn't matter if the folder is on the root or in a subdomain.

So my example becames:

-----------------------------------------------------
folder 1 [<<< it contains task 1.a]
> task 1.a
> folder 1.2
---> task 1.2.a
---> task 1.2.b
-----------------------------------------------------
folder 2 [<<< it doesn't contains tasks]
> folder 2.1
> folder 2.2
-----------------------------------------------------
folder 3 [<<< it doesn't contains tasks in its root]
> folder 3.1
---> task 3.1.a
---> task 3.1.b
> folder 3.2
---> task 3.2.a
-----------------------------------------------------

PS: making bold a folder that contains a bolded folder could be a good feature also. for example:

-----------------------------------------------------
folder 3
> folder 3.1
---> task 3.1.a
---> task 3.1.b
> folder 3.2
---> task 3.2.a
-----------------------------------------------------

but it is not necessary

You have a "has subtask" or even better, a "has incomplete subtask" parameter you should use in your auto-formating script.

Hi Robisme,

the hasSubtask condition is a good point of start - thank you!

Unfortunally this condition refers to ALL the subtasks including those in subfolders.

How to "make" a condition like hasSubtaskInRoot?
