Hello,

Drag and drop from outlook with a link back to email was working fine, even once I had moved said email into the archive.

Now for some reason, once I move the email to the archive, the outlook link from MLO won't work.   If Outlook is open I get the message: "The attempted operation failed.  An object coiuld not be found."   If outlook is not open, I get the message: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook".  If I move the email from the archive back to the inbox, I get the "The attempted operation failed" message again.  But if I undo the move to Archive, the link works.

The issue is that the Message-id is changing when I move the email to the archive. My understanding was that that is a unique idenfier to the email. Any ideas why that would change?

Now this may be an Outlook issue rather than MLO, but this functionality was working fine last week.  For those of you who drag and drop, do you find that the links are working still once you move the email out of the outlook inbox??  I should add that I'm using Outlook 2019 enterprise.

Many thanks,

Tron

I’ve found that moving the email after dropping it into MLO causes the link to break. This has been for at least a month, but I don’t know if it used to be OK. Have you updated Office recently?

I was on office 365 and it was working fine to my employer's microsoft exchange setup.

Now I'm back on my company's enterprise version of Office and their exchange server and the links are breaking. I will test on my office 365 computer at home to see how things are working there.

Similar thing here. Whenever I drag something from Outlook into MLO, MLO freezes and crashes. I have an overdue ticket open regarding this issue (5th of Dec).

The MLO squad doesn't seem to respond at all, it's not the only unanswered ticket I have ...

Cheers

André
