"copy as local link" vs "insert link to task" : url difference

Hi,

If I insert a link to a task (ricght click in the note), the url will be shorter than if I copy a task as local link and paste it in the note.

The second option will ad a sequel to the url, starting with "&zoom".

What is the purpose of this "zoom" stuff, as, if I delete it, the link remains valid?

Yes it is valid. Zoom will just store your current outline zoom.

Would it be possible to only paste an hyperlink whose text is just the task's caption ?
