RTL in Windows desktop

As a Hebrew speaker, I was glad to discover MLO has an "RTL reading order" option in the task edit context menu; However, when I write in mixed languages, and then select it, it reverses the directionality of the text but the text reverts to the original directionality once I press Enter. What is the expected functionality? I couldn't find the command in the user's guide.
I enjoy working in an English-language interface (in MLO and in Windows), but occassionally need to mix languages in the same task.
