Desktop pro version - how can I sync with wifi on iPhone without paying for the app again on my device?

I bought the desktop pro version.  Do I have to purchase the mobile version to get them to sync?  My trial period on my tablet expired, and now I can't use wifi to sync with my desktop.  Thoughts?

My idea was that they need a free version on phones that doesn't have all the standalone features but just expects you to pay for the desktop version to make it useful. Instead, they have tried to make the phone version a full app in itself and therefore charge for each separately. The only way I could think was to buy the android mlo first and only use it for the next year while I try to save up for the desktop also.

Well last week I finally bought the desktop version so I could sync without trials running out. It seems like as long as I don't upgrade next release it will be worth the price. But I found that a lot of features just still cannot be done if you only have Android version.

I wish they would understand this is not acceptable to quite a few of us.

It's an expensive initial cost, especially for the desktop version, but at least you're not forced into a subscription model. Unlike other task and time management software, the optional cloud-sync subscription model has a very reasonable cost.

Overall, then, if you're going to use MLO for a few years (as I've done), it's much cheaper than the subscription-based services. I prefer this model - pay to own, instead of leasing.

True dat...
I have been frustrated by other applications now requiring me to pay every year and not allowed to keep using the version I already bought. That's one thing I like about MLO and in this case it is nice that they tend to remain old-fashioned

Value of being more efficient and not forgetting things >>> than the cost of MLO.

This is why I buy a desktop license, an Android licence, an iPhone license, and a cloud sync license. And upgrade to every version that comes out. I want to encourage/reward the developers to keep developing because it makes me better.

good try but I still forget things because this is not improving in the way it needs to; not making my task flow efficient

I don't understand your comment. "Good try...". Everything I said is true for me. Maybe you want MLO to be something it isn't intended to be.

A hammer will never be a screwdriver no matter how hard you want it to be. You can either keep pounding in the screw and complaining about how hard it is or you can put the hammer away and pick up a screwdriver. Your choice.

No, nothing to do with changing what it is. When I need to enter 10 tasks that I just remembered, I cannot enter them quickly enough so I don't remember anymore. It is clearly a problem of expecting me to do everything manually when MLO could have predicted some things needed or been programmable to set up the defaults that I use. Way way too much work needed manually so it is not efficient!

I have been here more that 10 years ago discussing what is needed, as have many many posts addressed it here. They have had plenty of time to adjust but they just ignore all of us. This is about doing what MLO does, not about adding new features.
