LAN (Wifi) Sync from Mac via Crossover or a VM like Parallels?

I have an Intel Mac and can't get LAN (Wifi) Sync to work either via CrossOver Office or Parallels VM / Windows 11. I've made sure both are on the same Wifi network / subnet / etc. and turned off firewalls.

Anyone have luck with either of those, or another piece of Virtual Machine software like VirtualBox?

If not, any useful info I could get to the devs via WireShark etc?
