I find that tasks can inherit recurrence from "Task parent" or "Project parent", but not the Folder parent.

Wondering is it possible inherit from "Folder parent" as well?

Hello Michel,

Starting from the top of the menu:
  1. Tools - Options - Themes and Formatting, then press the edit button.
  2. Select the "Tree format" tab in the pop-up window.
  3. Select the "Selection" sub-tab.
  4. Select your colours - You can have a different colour for when the MLO window is in focus, compered to when focus is on some other app. You can also choose text colour, to make sure that it's visible. Note that some of the other options (eg project font colours) may overwrite the font colours which you select in this tab. I haven't tested that.
I hope that helps,
Stéphane

I am trying to setting the dark theme, but I can not find a way to change the highlight color under the cursor.

When using white texts, it will be mixing with the highlight, as show in following image.

I posted wrong title for this question before.
I seems messed it up after editing, my question about themes color is here  link.

Thank you Stéph,

From my testing, that option is for selected item, no the item under the cursor (moving the cursor without clicking).

Yes, that would be right.

Meanwhile, something's gone wrong with this thread. The replies are on the topic of whether it's possible to set colours of the selected item so that they suit a dark theme, For some reason, though, they've been appended to a topic on "How to set Tasks inherit recurrence "Folder parent". Not sure what's going on with Google Groups today!
