I'm talking about the right-hand side pane showing the "notes" of a task. It is currently small and in grey which is hard to read.

The theme settings can only set the font when it's being "edited", however how can I set the color of the notes when it is not being edited?

Hello Yuting,

If you select Tools-Options-Themes and Formatting and then edit your theme, the "notes editor" area of the "Font & Icons" tab will apply to the notes pane in all situations, whether you're editing the note or just viewing the notes pane for the selected outline item.

Regards,
Stéphane

But if the "Properties" pane (where you set the Context, Importance, Due date etc.) on the bottom right is also visible, then the "Notes" text will shrink to tiny font and turn grey. Is there a way to prevent this?

I don't see the same behaviour as you. If I expand the Properties pane, then the Notes font and colour don't change for me. I'm using Windows 7 and running the latest beta version, by the way.

Does anyone else see Notes text shrinking and the colour changing?

Please see the attached screenshots for explanation of issue. The font settings can only be seen in properties-off.png but not properties-on.png.

Try right clicking on properties and uncheck edit notes in full pane.

I'd not noticed this option. Thanks.

That solved the problem. Thank you!
Hope this can be corrected properly in the future. :)
