I am getting a "To Many Task" message at the top of my Views List on my Android app.  3,047 tasks.  Is this a phone memory issue, or is it embedded in the MLO App?  Does the size of tasks/notes matter in this determination?    I like having all my old odd tasks available to search through.  Any thoughts appreciated.

I too like to retain completed tasks, to recycle when the same sort of Project come around again. And I get those ‘warnings’ too, which I just swipe away when they appear – the swipes involved are a price I’m prepared to pay. I have nearly 19,000 tasks.

This message informs you that there are more than 3,000 tasks in the profile and recommends archiving the completed ones (go to Settings -> Archive). You can ignore it if having so many tasks does not slow down the app performance, such as rebuilding of views, etc.

just to mention... are you aware that you can :
a) archive completed tasks into "any other file"
b) open "any other file" quickly for reviewing past performance
c) sync any other files accordingly via the cloud
==
which gives you the option to even build archieves by interest or focus area...
just a thought

In addition - i sometime - while exporting all to a separate file which is completed:
- can focus on just the current state in the current file
- export the tasks in XLS format for analysis with more sophisticated analysis methods for past performance and insights into inhibiting patterns
- - while using advanced XLS features like pivot, ... - and even PowerBI could be used
just another thought :)

Cheers -A
