Dear Sirs,

I would like to know why events cannot be edited to turn them into tasks?

And why tasks have not a timeline, since events have?

Tasks like events, have duration and need a timeline in my opinion.

Hi
I'm not worried about the flags. I can put them back on. But I'm not
concerned about trusting that what I put on MLO will stay there. I have no
clue what could have happened.
In the meantime I upgraded to android pro version. around the same time
that this happened. But this happened last week too , but I did something
(no idea what, maybe just a different view) and they were there again.
Maybe they are still there and I'm not in the right view.
Any ideas??

Thanks!

Android users: you may be puzzled if you forget that if you apply a filter
to a view (e.g. "Active Actions") in the app, that same filter will affect
that view in the widget.

This happened to me as I was playing with the new MLO2 for Android. I had
recreated the widget and set it to display the *Active Actions* view. A few
days later, I was puzzled to find the widget displaying "No items in view"
instead. (There were tons of active actions in my MLO profile.) I
discovered that earlier in the week, in the app, I had filtered *Active
Actions* using a string that didn't exist in my profile. That filter had
also affected the *Active actions* view displayed in the widget. Once I
removed the filter in the app, both the app and the widget resumed
displaying all *Active actions*.

So keep that in mind: the widget displays the app's *current *result set
from the selected view.

Good to know! I wouldn't have expected that otherwise.

If you double click to see the task in outline view on Windows does it go
to the same task in the tree? If you look at properties, task details, are
they the same creation date? If so, it's likely they are the same task and
the view is set up to show that task twice. For example a task with
multiple contexts will show up multiple times in tasks by context, it's not
a duplicate, it just meets the criteria for the filter in both cases.

Strange, it still works fine for me so must be platform dependant.I'm on a
nexus 5.
