hi,
is it possible to tweak mlo this way, that a new task (e.g. via RTE)
has automatically a dedicated flag?

You can just add a switch to the end of your task. Like:

Get milk tomorrow -flag

I have all RTE tasks go into my "Inbox" folder and then sort from
there. If it is real important I add the "star" switch at the end like
this:

Get milk tomorrow -*

or
Get milk tomorrow -star

both work the same.

Just some clarification to set a flag through RTE it would be -flred
or -flgreen (red and green flags)

Actually, you only need sufficient letters to uniquely identify the
flag e.g. -flr = red, -flpu = purple, -flpi = pink

I see this request is pretty old - is this still the same or been implemented?

Specifically I would like to inherit Star from a folder to tasks created within it (from RTE or otherwise).
The workarounds of specifying manually are not very convenient when creating tasks on mobile (android) especially.

Thanks
