Feature needed - Add Parent Task

Hi all,

I was working in MLO Windows and realized some features it could enhance.

I think, this is not priority feature, but regarding UX could help a lot.

I start this suggestion asking:

- What if we could add a task by selecting an existing one, right click on it and have options like?

Parent task (this does not exist)

Sibling task (this exist as New task)

For me this would be useful and at the same time leads to efficiency in adding tasks to a previous list/group of them, mainly when we forget a parent task.

I would like to hear from all of you.

I think efficiency should be a priority, so I agree with anything that helps. I do know that keyboard shortcuts help me a lot if I remember them. I am usually on a sibling and I want another one, but if I hit Ins then the sibling is added. Add Parent sounds strange, but sometimes I have made a task first and then realize it needs to be a child of something more general I have not added yet, so would be helpful to add parent and the hilighted task becomes it's child.

Add parent is rare in my workflow, too. I tend to press the left arrow button to go up to the parent level and then press Ins to add a sibling - I don’t find that combination of actions particularly slow or cumbersome*. Still, if other users find it essential, it wouldn’t hurt to add it, I guess.

*Another work around is to hit Ins to add a sibling, type its title, then hit the keyboard combination (Shift+Alt+left arrow, in my case) to move it up to the parent level.
