Can I inherit context from a folder? I created a folder called reading. I would like all child tasks (and sub folders) to inherit its context. Logic, when I’m on my iPad I would like to be able to see which books are on my current reading list.

Other options - being able to focus on a folder in do list mode. (while on iPad)

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark

Can I inherit context from a folder?
Yes, by default, child tasks inherit the parent's context.
Create a folder. Assign a context to it. Add tasks to that folder. Expected behavior: all child tasks have the same context as their parent.

Other options - being able to focus on a folder in do list mode. (while on iPad)
On android, it's enough to zoom into the folder to focus on it.

Best wishes
Andrew

Yes, you could zoom into a folder. Alternatively, you could set up a filter, TopLevelFolderName contains "reading", although that would only work if the reading folder is at the right level in your outline structure.
