I am considering buying MLO Cloud service. In the notes it says we can add tasks on the Windows desktop version (I already have that) and then sync. Once setup, can we add new tasks on the Android phone/tablet and will they sync to the Windows desktop after sync?

Yes, absolutely. the cloud sync is bidirectional. I set it up to "use server version" in case of conflicts and it works well. However be aware that the android sync is not entirely automatic, when it detects changes it notifies you rather than syncing immediately, so good idea to hit the sync button regularly when are leaving the platform. F9 on Windows, cloud icon on android.
