Any improvements coming with calendar sync?

I've moved to using a time-blocking methodology but I hate how the calendar sync in MLO keeps me desk bound to the desktop version. If I need to make changes to my schedule in my calendar, I have to use the desktop version or some workarounds. 

Are there any developments coming that will add calendar sync to the mobile versions? Perhaps an integrated calendar in MLO that will allow us to time-block?

As far as I'm concerned Calendar sync is a fail with MLO. I just now made an adjustment to a task on Google Calendar, rescheduling a task from today to tomorrow. I then synced to MLO and MLO moved the task back to today so not sure what happened there but I guess legacy apps like MLO can't sync instantly to online calendars which is why I'm going to have to look for a solution that's solely online. Ugh.
