Is there a way to filter by 'overdue' monthly or weekly tasks (in other words, those that were identified as monthly or weekly before this month or week, respectively?

I have attempted something using the "ModifiedDateTime", but this is not really a solution because a) it assumes that the last thing you did was to mark the task as a monthly/weekly goal and b) there is no 'last month' option, and I don't really understand how to use subtasks to do a boolean "last 2 months NOT this month"-type thing.

Of course, I already filter by tasks with overdue actual dates. But the monthly/weekly goal setting is so handy! I just tend to keep things as monthly or weekly goals for...longer than the month or week, respectively.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

MLO doesn't automatically know which specific month or week the goal belongs to, so you need to manually set a due date alongside the goal. In this case, the due date should correspond to the end of the relevant month or week.

For example:

Task A: monthly goal, due date 31 Aug.
Task B: weekly goal, due date 14 Sep.

I've attached a screenshot to show how you can set up filters to display overdue monthly and weekly goals in one view.

Thank you. Is there a way to automatically set the due date when selecting the Goal? I.e. 'Monthly' automatically sets the due date for the last day of that month?

There's no way to automatically set the due date based on the Goal, but we appreciate the suggestion and will consider it for future improvements.

Got it -- I ask because I thought maybe this was possible in 'Triggers and Action Rules'. I guess not. Yes, please consider something like this for the future. Thank you!
