Is there a way of switching off reminders so they don't interrupt meetings,  online presentations,  etc.      I can remember asking for this years ago and I thought I had seen it listed in one of the release notes but having only just upgraded to the latest version,   I can't find now.

I don't want to close MLO because I want to use Rapid Task Entry to create new Tasks whilst the meeting is taking place.

If it doesn't exist,  it would be a right click on the MLO System Tray icon which offers different time periods to switch off Reminders:    30 mins,  1 hour,  3 hours,   4 hours,  0.5 day,   1 day,  Permenantly.

Also useful if you don't want to be interrupted.

And ideally also being able to flag a Reminder as High Importance (or something like that) which overrides the suppression

Thanks

Richard

Hello Richard,

I don't know if it does (because I only use the portable version), but I would think that MLO notifications should be managed by the global notification settings in Windows 10. If it is (and if not, then this is a feature request!), you can manually disable and re-enable notifications using the "Focus Assist" button in the Windows Notifications panel. Full instructions are towards the end of this article:  How to temporarily stop Windows 10 notifications with Focus Assist (Quiet Hours) | Digital Citizen

A kludge, maybe?
Use a silent wav file as the default reminder sound in your C:\Program Files (x86)\MyLifeOrganized.net\MLO\Sound folder?
Use a batch file to toggle sound on and off by renaming mloReminder.wav and silent.wav appropriately.
