All my tasks have disappeared on laptop & phone after Sync

I have just cleaned my laptop with Glary Utilities and CC Cleaner and I suspect this may have wiped my tasks, I haven't backed up for several weeks - was hoping the Sync was my backup in case of such an event... 

Are there any backups in the cloud?

Any ideas would be gratefully received
